January 3, 200718 yr comment_3180 Rush is awesome it so fast and open,but going to back to rush being a world first, basically screaming swing at knotts which I have riden is the worlds first screaming swing but rush is the worlds first giant screaming swing meaning it has better capacity.
January 12, 200718 yr comment_3608 can I just say that I hope this year Thorpe can get both swings of rush working, me and my friend love the ride, we both think it is fantastic but we both want both swings open to reduce queuing, it is a very long queue when it only has one swing going, it took us an hour and 15 minutes to queue!! please please please get rush working again!

March 1, 200718 yr comment_5945 Well actually, Rush opened in 2005 as the world biggest swing thing yknow and this is where I get annoyed. Cedar Point with all their massive 16 coasters with loads of recoreds get to greedy and want more. So just one year later they open a screaming swing there exactly the same as rush only a bit bigger and take the record away. Top class park cedar, very greedy though .
March 1, 200718 yr comment_5992 Why would it effect Thorpe, Cedar added theirs as a support ride to the 16 coasters. It's a small footprint and is an easy marketing gimmick.. many parks in Europe are doing the same, for instance Liseberg in Sweden.
March 1, 200718 yr comment_5996 Its not all about records though. Rush is just as fun (or not, depending on your opinion) now as it was when it had its 'record'. It wasn't much or a record anyway - just because it had a larger capacity.
