Matt 236
The theming there just looks incredible. I just love the details they've put in to this park. Looks like another park in the world that makes Merlin's theming look meh (even towers).

JoshC.
As anyone who read BenC's Italian trip report may already know, Cinecitta World hasn't been that busy recently. So much so that they've decided to significantly change their open season and reduce the number of days they're open. http://www.theparks.it/cinecitta-world-p1147/notizie/2015/09/il-parco-chiude-inaspettatamente-questa-settimana-n1811/(In Italian, but Google translate is our friend) Hopefully the park can have a better 2016 season, as it does look like a lovely park! BenC
So whether the Park will open at all for 2016 is now being cast into doubt. The court of Rome has decreed that Cinecittà World's property will be seized, following continuing complaints from up to a dozen of the subcontractors who built the Park that they have never been paid for their work. The Park reportedly still owes tens of millions of Euros in unpaid fees. With this seizure, the park may well not re-open in 2016, and declare bankruptcy. Matt 236
Damn, and it looked such a nice park (despite the many problems mentioned above) and I though it had such a bright future. It appears to be the opposite. I just hope something can be sorted where the park can be brought up by a new management as thisxfoesntvsou f good at all. Is this the next hard rock park I wonder? Benin
Classic Italy... Disappointing if it does close obviously, never nice to see a park go under... But here they only have themselves to blame...
Mark9
Colour me unsurprised. Build a new massive scale theme park like this in a country with a weak economy, this was inevitable. pognoi
alexander
The park is gorgeous. Such a shame.
JoshC.
Ouch. Hopefully the issues can be resolved and we can see the place reopen at some point in the future; would be nice. But things don't exactly look great.
