Posted May 27, 200817 yr comment_27313 Alex pointed out that we do not have a Topic for feedback for the Forum itself, so here is one. We are currently taking on board any ideas you have for a new forum skin, anything you'd like to see on a new forum if we where to develop our current one. Also, give us feedback on any other issues with the Forums here.Cheers JD
August 15, 200817 yr comment_30855 Well, here's what I think of the forum:1. Very well organized. every topic possibly to do with theme parks covered.2. Very friendly people, well those I have met so far.3. Really nice layout, with all areas of the forum easy to get toKeep it up
August 24, 200817 yr comment_31234 Is something wrong with the signatures? I've noticed everyone's is in the default tiny blue, the BB Code won't work on mine when I try to customise it, and my link to my image has gone since I last logged on.Is something wrong?
August 25, 200817 yr comment_31271 In our on going effort to make the Mania Hub forums as fun as possible, we rely on the community to report any abuse or activities that violate our posting guidelines. Whilst we have a team of Admins who monitor the forum regularly things can slip by.If you have witnessed any such activity or abuse, you can now report it, by hitting the report button by the side of the post. This flags the post and alerts our Hub Bot as well as the admin team.
September 16, 200816 yr comment_33026 Admins, I know how hard you slave over this lovely forum. Here is a request:Would it be possible to brighten up (in some shape of form) a way of alerting you that you have a new message? All it says is 1 New Message at the top and you have to look closely. Could the green strip possibly change to another colour and have some large text amongst it?Other forums have a better way of telling you have a new PM - not that I'm criticising you system of course.
September 16, 200816 yr comment_33031 The feature is there, it's just hidden. This is because we have a completely custom forum skin, so we can get this place to look nice, and to achieve this we need to hide bits of the original, and the bit we've hidden contains the pop out message box. We'll look into it.
September 16, 200816 yr comment_33036 Theme Park bloke, if you want to know so bad, set it up so your alerted via email... It's not difficult to see if you have a new message and I'd rather be happy with it jumping out and spamming me every time I have a new message.
September 16, 200816 yr comment_33054 Because we rock, the popout personal assistant, message notifier, thing, now works again. Also when you use quick edit now you'll get some feedback on what's happening, like loading etc, so you don't leave the page before it's done!
October 2, 200816 yr comment_34453 okay, I swear there is something wrong with my acount!:Pyesterday when I came on, it said I had 146 posts, which is all cool to me. I started 2 new topics, replied twice to another topic, and it still says 146!I even posted twice today, and my post count's not moving..I don't know what everyone else sees, but it's still 146 for me, and I want to know what's going on!
October 2, 200816 yr comment_34457 It's probably because while you are posting, a lot of your posts are also being deleted, bringing it back down.
October 2, 200816 yr comment_34461 It's probably because while you are posting, a lot of your posts are also being deleted, bringing it back down.yes, perhaps you are right, although I'm not sure how my posts can be removed when there are no admins or moderators online.:Pand anyway, why would my posts be removed.
October 2, 200816 yr comment_34464 The simple answer is that they take a while to update. Long answer is that post counts are cached to reduce server load, and only updated at random intervals.
October 2, 200816 yr comment_34465 And the real answer is that not all posts will add to your post count, only those in certain forums!

October 2, 200816 yr comment_34471 Because some members boost their post count up in the off topic area, and when new members come along, they see a member with a high post count, and assume they're all knowledgeable in the area of Thorpe/Chessington/Alton/Whatever, when in actual fact they're supreme ruler of the Random Spamothon. It's difficult to go in much more detail than that, all you need to know is that its done

October 2, 200816 yr comment_34490 well it's definetly interesting, maybe other forums will start to take this idea:PI personally parallel this example you are using Supreme Commander Phill.
October 27, 200816 yr comment_37510 Quote button entirely fudged. Opera 9.60.However the return of the top of page button pleases me.
October 28, 200816 yr comment_37609 Quick Edit is now back. If you notice anything odd, please report it. Ta!
