TraX
At the end of the day, this is truely unique. Thorpe are going to go all out on this one. Expect the works. I hope it's kept up all the years round, but from the get go, there's a lot on this and it's going to be awesome.
TRGeorge
Gareth and I have been spectulating about the indoor part of SAW. And we think that the spikes you see in the photos on SAW - The Ride minisite will be above the first drop as a headchopper. This will work fanplastically because the first drop is much steeper than you'd expect it to be
Tom
meh. I don't really want to think about it, I want it to be a suprise. (I certainly know something will be ) So yeah. that's nice what you've been talking about but whatever really.
treeis
what I want to know is...Will geurstular use those plain old boring cars as a template or those new ones that they used on "speed"?If you know what I'm on about...
Will
Well...seeing as Thorpe (amazing as they are) are collaborating with Lionsgate, nah. They would want nice sexy trains - SAW-style
Phill
I can see them having a rusty texture, or something along those lines. Perhaps make it look booby trapped, with a timer or something, like the films!
Will
I bet we'll be sitting in SAW-type chairs. I can even hope for each car having its own individual trap, that would be so Disney like...in terms of going that lil' bit extra.
Sidders
What, so like a fake choker around your neck or is that a bit too drastic? If it is then there's always a spiked body-clasp. They're fun
Sidders
Why are you victimising me phill?? is it cos I'm a girl? This always happens... everytime I try to be friendly, people just dont reciprocate.. I feel banished and you made me cry in my dark corner. Why are u mocking my quotes? you dont do it to anyone else... this is horrible and I am useless. life is so pointless now cos no one appreciates me. The Val project looks amazing and I'm sooo going on it- if I make it till then.I may not be the longest serving member of TPM, but I've been here long enough to know that that is not the way to get sympathy, Phill was trying to reason with you, but then you were adamant on arguing your point; which, lets be honest, was rather pointless. (ahem, Project Val? )And please don't double-post, just click the 'Edit 'button :DAnd I'm sure Phill has posted comments mocking other people's quotes, but never agressively, only to get things that have got out-of-hand, back in order. It's best not to argue with the Admin Team, they run the place, and if you upset them or they see you upsetting other members, they'll suspend you, just read the guidelines...Now, back on topic: can anyone estimate how deep the Dive Loop trench is? Is it deep enough for the car to go underground for a decent amount of time, or is it the kind of trench that is just there for a bit of scary themeing?
Jack The Sack
They should build a tunnel over the trench, it would make a good headchopper effect!

Gareth
I think those plans look brilliant - it's very interesting to see them with graphic detail applied...
Ellie
Plans submitted to runnymede for a kiosk outside the rideClick Here To See!(scroll to bottom)SAW: Construction update from me tomorrow.Wow, thanks for this!! This is going to look amazing.Tbh, this is my first time criticising the ride but I've started to realise how out of place it MIGHT look being so themed in comparison to the rest of the park. But, there is no doubting the excellence of this ride!! So excited!! ...oh and I just noticed that on the plans theres a wind turbine... cool!
Jack The Sack
Did anyone get any pictures of the station, this weekend? :DThat Kiosk is going to rock!

Knucklecoaster
I'm so excited about this ride opening. When I heard it was gonna be called SAW and based on the films I was doing cartwheels! I think they are brave to call it the scariest ride in the world though, I cant see this but I'm sure it's gonna be very good wiv some excellent theming. Judging by the photos I'd say the drop is a little over 100'ft it looks massive behind Samurai and most impressive!I heard that it's 110'ft can anyone confirm this? If so it's as tall as Detonator.
Sidders
Detonator is actually 115ft, but the new coaster is little over 100ft, by about 2 inches... Anyway you look at it, it makes it taller than Colossus and Nemesis Inferno.
Dan9
It's taller than Nemesis Inferno by a bit I think, not Colossus though. Unsure on that though.
Whiteknuckle
According to RCDB Colossus 98 ft 5 inchesNemesis Inferno 95 ft 2 inchesSaw 100ft Not sure about Detonator but I'll take Mr Hicks view on that, with 115 ft
TRGeorge
Ive always thought of Nemesis, Colossus and SAW as 100ft and Detonator as 115ft
Knucklecoaster
To me SAW looks taller than Detonator for some reason, I believe Slammer is 105'ft. Just another question they say the ride has 3 inversions, but are they including the barrel roll inside the ride station building, or just the outdoor inversions?? Because if they havnt included the barrel roll than technically speaking they're wrong because it has 4 inversions!
