James6
I agree with Electric Bill about there being sections within the asia area. As I think the area would be huge if Mystic East and Wild Asia were combined and also, one is oriental one is Ruins/temple like.
Kevin
The queueline speakers all seem to have had their wires ripped out, so no queue music at the moment .The idea of that was they were going to install a whole queue line music system, wires are still visible where they dug it all up to install, however even after installing the new speakers, the wires just never got attached. Pity, but I'd imagine they will finish it off one day.
James6
Just thought I'd warn of what looked like pretty serious problems today on Dragon Falls about 3/4. Boat looked to be stuck on the main drop with a maintenance guy (can't remember there actual name) climbing over the conveyor belt over the drop. Other boats evacuated, but at about 4 the boat from the drop was no longer there, but the ride still not in operation, this was the last look of it I got so don't know if it was re-opened. Fred
Oh I'm excited that the ride must be having a conveyor problem, OMFG.
James6
Err excuse me?I've not seen Dragon Falls have problems EVER. Therefore when the ride is evacuated and there is a guy climbing all over the drop, and the ride is closed for a pretty decent amount of time I thought it was pretty unusual and thought that anyone visiting within the next few days may want to do know. Mark9
Oh I'm excited that the ride must be having a conveyor problem, OMFG.Pete, instead of being a idiot and as you have operated a log flume in the past, could you just explain what has happened, next time. Cheers.
Fred
Explains: Sounds like a conveyor problem, really not exciting and really not problematic usually either, probs open tomorrow.

weeby-vuit
It will be wicked if Dragons Fall is added to the Wild Asia area, I do think that Chessington need to create bigger themed areas, Wild Asia is amazing, it sets a new standard at the park.It will be good to see the improvements for net season...! Benin
Not the first time Falls has had a problem... Think it was the start of 08 that it wasn't having a good time...On a side note... Bring back the rocks! etc...
Benin
Themed uniforms now being used on the ride What they look like? The dragon roar and chimes were on during opening day but not when I went t'other weekend...
James6
Oooh, looks like themed uniforms are slowly being introduced throughout the park!
Mattgwise
Really enjoyed Dragon falls today, not to wet on drop, actually got wetter from a sprinkler after the drop and the elephant spray. Also the water is so clean compared to other Log flumes.Didn't notice anyone dressed up.
themeparkmad
The uniform should be a safari hat and some sort of jacket. (EG Uniform on Bubbleworks...apparently).
LordBen
Yeah the bubbleworks guys have a long white lab coat and yellow hard hat!
themeparkmad
Bad Points: * Water from elephant is no longer reaching into boat.* Audio in Dragons mouth no longer playing.Good Points:* Audio is a lot louder in the station creating more of an atmosphere.* New water effect after the main drop is very good! themeparkmad
Don't be sarcastic Benin Water effect, as in those fountains activated by the buttons? Or is there something new? Honestly, I don't know if you need to push a button to activate them but I know they are just after the main drop
Benin
The new fountains at the bottom of the drop are button activated along the fence opposite Peeking...Though I have no idea if they are free or you have to pay since I haven't actually gone right up to them... StevenVig
They are free, which is more than can be said for Thorpe.
MikeyT
As for the audio and elephant, I'm guessing it's a case of the engineers forgetting to turn the audio on, and the elephant is literally controlled by a tap round the back of the ride, on that particular day though, the weather wasn't the best, so I'm guessing they had it on low so not to get the guests too wet. themeparkmad
Dragon Falls has a new wall effect after you come to the top of Lift 2 until you get to the main drop.Suppose it is quite good really so it covers up the storage areas around back.
