The reason that Stealth is currently not experiencing many rollbacks is, although partially to do with the weather, because they have taken Car 2 off the track. Any visitors of 2008 will distinctly remember that it was car 2 that did most of the rolling back, due to friction or something in the wheels. Thorpe park have, because of this, taken this car off the track and are using it as the spare car, and car 3 is now one of the main cars on the track, along with car 1.

I asked a ride host on Stealth why it hasnt rolled back for a long time, she said they have stopped it rolling back, although she didnt say how

They can't stop it from rolling back, not permanently anyway. OK, so it may go through a phase of not many rollbacks, but to say that Stealth will never rollback again is like saying Slammer will never fault again - unpredictable, yet so true.

Stealth goes faster and it has new very expensive wheels instead of the cheap ones they hasd last year so good wheels means less rollbacks and nowdays stealth glides over the top of it when I was speaking to Carl on it the other day he told me  xxx

They cant stop rollbacks because its scientifically impossible?

Pretty much, they can do all they want to cut them down but, at the end of the day, they are still going to happen occaisionally.

If it was possibly to stop once rollbacks once and for all, they would have done this from the start and not bought a huge number of moving brake fins.

Not nessesseraly, when stealth was ought anti-rollback mechanizams may not of been created or even known about. therefore stealth still having the breaking system on the launch track.

Yeah stealth seems to go faster over the top then I ever remember, also when it started going slower over the top they made an announcement and called engineers and then tested it once then opened it again and it was going fast again.I love stealth :)
