I dont think bulking up the girder will make any difference, I expect it dont vibrate so much more because it dont really do much, Baco is smooth when its on the launch too!

Was there again tonight - was certainly busier than Friday - although queues were still generally pretty good - most I saw was Stealth at about 10 mins, the rest was just a couple trains wait. Find the atmosphere much better when there are a few more at these events and they are not totally dead!

I'm sure Stealth had something similar to this a few years ago at fright nights, it wasn't so much they were told to run slow it was that the ride would take longer than normal to recharge the system and allow the next launch so the staff going slower just stopped guests being sat there on the train ready to go for ages.

It's not really in the queue it's at the disabled entrance. Maybe they needed an electrical warning sign and that's the best they had?!

It wasn't just MAP was normal ticket holders and hotel guests too

The maximum I saw was 2/3 trains on Stealth and Inferno which was fine.

Merlin food really isn't that expensive and the quality is actually quite good for the money IMO. One - no queue went over 2/3 trains so it was all what was needed

Here now - all coasters are open along with tidal wave, storm surge and dodgems. There's some live entertainment in amity and a BBQ and the flow rider open on the beach. So far so good!!

Stealths now open

Youve kind of just argued the point for this system though, 15 rides for a "normal" guest would be amazing, thorpe have to do what will please hte majority of its guests who fall under this "normal guests" cloud so thats what they will rightly do.

To be fair last year rides rarely had a half hour queue so don't see why they would this year. The park empties so much between 6 and 7pm so it should be fine.

I'm not so sure, enthusiasts of course bring up many valid points because of how many other parks they see etc, but for example will slate things like reserve n ride and arnt willing to actually give it a chance, when actually given time it looks like it's starting to work and people seem to like it.

Thorpe will have a much better idea on the feedback from the trials than we will! More times than not somthing which enthusiasts hate the general public love!

I expect when the park refer to it being abused, this is the kind of stuff they mean. I agree it worked well on Stealth as that queue was designed with it in mind, but even then it works better now that they dont have disabled guests queueing at the exit.

I'm sure if it is as bad as you say they will want to fix it as much as we want them to, if not more!

We are looking into this! Seems to be related to the launch of the main site.

I do have to agree, I've seen more problems with the baggage hold at the entrance (such as running out of space / huge queues at exit / people not realising to put their bags there!) than I ever have with it at its new (old) location.

I'm glad its moved back, the queues at the exit at times were horrible, I personally think it works much better inside simply thanks to the amount of extra space they have.
