  1. No, why would I want to go back here? Yes of course I am interested And getting to see Matt and Liam at Disney for their first time...priceless (imagine Liam on ToT)! Matt's post in response to this thread was just...well, what's he gonna be like when he's actually there?!

    Television

I miss Tim! Never understood why he wore strange hats during training though Scott...meh They had their Blackpool show tonight Which is always great in that magnificent ballroom, but a little more exciting now since I've been there, and danced on that floor! (Oh balls, I still need to write my Blackpool trip report!) And let's not forget the not-so-magnificent things which have occurred there on Strictly... http://youtu.be/sISZFkR-L3o The "dancing" starts at 50 seconds. If you've never seen it before, just watch, not just for the hilarity of the dance and what the pair of them look like, but also the judges' comments! Len is hilarious My mum enjoys those three, especially Escape To The Country And David Attenborough reminds so many of us in the family of her dad I don't really have anything that I always watch really - as in, I don't have to see every show/episode. I've got into Strictly over the years, at first for the entertainment factor but I've also ended up learning a lot about the dances etc and that side of it, mostly because my brother is a massive fan! I'm A Celebrity, as that's a good laugh, plus Ant and Dec add a lot of comedy to it. Other than that, if there's anything with animals in I'll usually watch, like For The Love Of Dogs, the cat thing on Horizon recently Oh and the penguin documentary a few years ago - Spy In the Huddle! That bird that took the "Egg Cam" and got the first ever flying aerial shot! Plus David Tennant narrated it
  3. I had a look on TFL and National Rail the other day, to check for planned works etc on the weekends in the poll. Nothing on TFL, however major work resumes on the London Bridge development thing on Saturday 20th, meaning no trains at all to/from London Bridge (but underground is fine). Just thought I'd give people a heads up The previous weekend - particularly Sunday 14th - has a huge list of stuff happening on various lines, so possibly a good thing that it didn't win the vote! And I shall definitely be there
  4. Oh dear And yes Merry-go-girl, what a great help that must've been! It's pointless me saying this here and now, but just a thought - it's too bad they didn't have a disabled access pass; they would've been in specific seats and evacuated first/one of the first and may have avoided this distress (Although, fair enough if they knew they could've got a wristband but didn't want to/didn't feel the need at the time)

"I love me Crunchies!" Mousse or yoghurt?
  6. No. The fact that they're covered in blood is disturbing. Presumably not their own but still! The reactions in that video made me want to cry a little. That is some seriously messed up ****.
  7. They sell it in those American candy shops which have sprung up everywhere! And in Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe. Bit expensive though!
  8. Well it's funny you should say that, as I came up with some member-based ideas myself Max Wellingtons (too obvious, I know, hence why I put it first ) Luke Ayer Fresheners Most of them however were food and beverages: Liam_Tea Matty Mousse Smidget Gems Pluky Charms Rogan JoshC Rice and Peaj Mr Fish Fingers Mermalade Toof Pickle But I think the best one is... Myk Weaves
  9. It's probably in your browser settings
  10. "Driving a bus in such a way as to alarm passengers." That's the Thorpe Park Express, isn't it? Along with the sardines!
  11. It's actually an offence! http://www.cps.gov.uk/legal/p_to_r/road_traffic_offences_guidance_on_prosecuting_cases_of_bad_driving/#a31 Good to know
  12. I hear ya. They can be more disabling than people realise, especially the ones that last for days and don't respond to painkillers! And I'm not even speaking from personal experience, this is just from witnessing a family member suffer with them. *Touch wood* I don't ever have them that bad, I mainly seem to get the crazy visual flickery flashy zig zag blind spot things but no headache afterwards
  13. Well...which are you? I'm left-handed, obviously So is my brother. My mum thinks it looks strange And no, something like writing with one hand and using your other hand for other tasks does not mean you're ambidextrous

    Confessions

Another leftie here! I now confess to thinking "I should start a poll on handedness..."
  15. Jack and toofy - as you both said, don't worry about these people, they need to grow up. Age is just a number and having older friends can be a good thing; they can advise you on things, use their own experiences from being your age to guide/help you, etc. Plus you both have friends on here who are your age or similar as well! Most of the people here who I consider my best friends are younger than me. But I rarely ever consider their age or worry about what other people might think, because they're such wonderful people who have stood by me no matter what and I'm glad I met Paige - damn right! Don't worry about what the teacher said. Be proud of yourself for the effort you put in
  16. Cute cartoon. Huge holes for eyes. 7/10

In other words, torture device or high speed ferris wheel? I'll take the high speed ferris wheel, thanks. Jk Rowling or Roald Dahl?
  19. Aye. It's even better when they're power-hungry and trying to turn people against you, but it backfires superbly onto them!
