Yeah I was mainly looking into R&A but it wasn't there. So I got scared and panic set in as I thought that was it, I'm Screwed! I was looking to appy this week as ive finally started to get a few things sorted (like completeing CV by the end of the week and Ill hava car in a few weeks) and the applying bit has dissapeared from their site :S I cant find it anywhere...this is desperate as I'm RELYING on this to all go to plan. WTF.

I'll apply when I get a car sorted. I'm a new driver and I'd have a 50 - 90 min journey each way to Thorpe (live just above the south downs in W.Sussex on the A24). But I am prepared for that journey. When I get round to it, I hope to go for R&A and work it all around the remainder of my 6th Form time. Just to make it more interesting, I have a bad back (doesn't effect me at all though other than really heavy lifting) and I am not the most confident person ever... but I have the enthusiasm for this job and to work hard... what would they rather.

Thorpes audio is great. One of the perks of the park. The sound system they have isn't however. Rush/Vortex could really do with some bigger and better speakers. Those little ones always sound like they are dieing/ over loud for what they can take and they don't cover very far in the loud enviroment. Amity needs the speakers turned on or fixed. I noticed only 2 of the 8 area ones work. So you get dead spots. I swear they were all working at the start of 2009. Infernos Volcano ones? I've never heard them and there is no atmosphere up there. Perhaps they would be a good fix, no?Saw has the best setup. The speakers are raised, the better ones. And it covers the whole queue well. Finally Canada Creek, beyond the railway there is no audio. I've always thought it would be good to carry on the Western tunes all the way up to Slammer/Toilet area. Thats also a dead atmosphere spot. Loose whatever Slammer plays and also have that as the same songs. The louder the better too. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to add a few high level themed speakers up that end.

The new site is amazing. Without a doubt, one of the better ones. The people are funny. The theme is wicked with the graffiti / broken look. Its looks well professionally done, artisticly. And nearly all the ride pages are mildly themed to a themed area which is a bonus nowadays.They dont need all the good language. It works for the style they are going for. Its all very down to earth and nice. Its not chavvy in ANY way. God people like there strict, perfect, to the book ways of having things dont they... slightly out of that, instantly classed as Chavvy. Jeeezzz.

Thorpes busy atmosphere is comparable to the feeling of being stabbed/mugged I'd think. Basically not nice. To much tension in the air to enjoy it. I'd rather not be there at all... Dead days for the win.

Whats the problem with normal text talk? Its almost the norm and everybody does it. Its NOT chav writing. Plus it saves time writing all proper when it doesn't really matter...

The Rapids are in a dire need of a repaint, just look at its entrance hut. I think the landscape around and the queue needs some attention. It just looks like your walking through a dump. The tunnel needs something. Anything. The loading area is just so bland and horrible. Maybe give the wood some watery graphics or something. The grass around the ride needs light! Its all dead!

I built a quick NL of it exacly to the plans. Well the outside parts. From the 67ft lift (judged from Rita to the plan hights), I got 40mph and got very soft floater airtime. This was with a 7 car train. It was able to take 7 cars without G Force issues. The backwards part was rather slow, but the woods bit was fairly exciting, if over a bit quickly. I guess with whatever the inside feacture is this will be a cracking little ride. More looking faward to the theming though.

The next park I will do will probally be Adventure Island on New Years with my parents. We will whore Rage. Best way to spend New Years ay!!!

Not with Thorpe. The thing I manly care about at thorpe is the ride count I get in a day. Thats the only way the place can be exciting at all now. If they are going to do Thrills, actually get rides that are thrilling... All the current rides are just too tame.

Going by Monday, Advance-booking has really helped this year with numbers and the fact that most of the guests were very happy. At the end of the day there were walk-ons/5 mins on some major rides, like Inferno and Stealth and Rush.

Well the water pump wasn't working on Tuesday for the body. I'd like to see a total replacement of the seringe animation because lets be honest, it crap. Like, an actual set or something from the films would be nice, and of corse covering the end of the bathroom scene would be good too.

I hope they get the timing issue sorted with the effects. Might aswell have gone straight through the seringes without them on at all... And the body basically has run out of water... It just dribbles... And the blades look like they were sticking a little. AND the UV lights are mostly blown.

^ Its a hell of a lot better than it is in the day. They really need to filter the lights around Saw. Red, Green or Purple; I don't mind. Just anything but bright white.

I know full well what I'm talking about, thats just one thing I have heard about Colly from many that have worked on it. It actually something I heard a very long time ago. I know how blocks work btw. Thats not difficult.

Sounds like someone dispatched to quick or the ride didn't register the track being clear of the other train. It can't restart with guests on, like Inferno can. Puts too much strain on the motor.
