  1. And when you have the 'second chance' to take them, it is hardly a walk in the park. It's worse than the first try. I don't feel relieved when I resit - I feel worse. The pressure is put on even more. Then, when you get the chance to go to a concert, only to have it spoiled by the fact you have exams to do, it is even worse. I do not know how Gemma feels, but what I'm saying is how I would feel if I was in her position. I'm not having a go at you here, I'm just pointing it out. In the end, whenever I read this topic, I always try to put myself in the 'ranters' shoes. When I do that, I can empathise with them. When I read Ryan's post, it seemed so sarcastic, and just had to 'rant' at him for it. To be honest, I've given up trying to have a view. Whenever I say something, it's wrong. Not just here, everywhere. With everyone. So basically, why should I bother any more? Bye bye.
  2. I give up. I honestly wonder why I bother...
  3. Well, perhaps if your post wasn't so sarcastic, it wouldn't come across as you have a go at her, would it? Thanks for that.
  4. Will, I am very sorry to here about that. For goodness sake, it is stress! She's in Year 11, finishing off here GCSEs. Firstly, loads of people hate having their photos taken - especially school photos. Loads of people feel 'unlucky' when it comes round. Then, when she gets a concert booked - which is something designed to relax and have fun - it is sandwiched by 3 flipping exams... that are retakes and most likely last chance!! That is what I would class as 'bad luck'. Sure, it may seem petty compared to other things - just look at WIll's example - but it doesn't mean you have to have a go at her. Jeez... ¬¬

    Fine then, newest added.

Unless I'm mistaken, it is the newest SAW they've got, and their fifth newest video. If that's what you call on of the oldest, I'm worried as to what you call new.
  7. Wow, nice photo. As far as I know, the jolt has not been removed. The lift hill / drop has not been replaced. Unless there was another way of rectifying the problem (which I assume is highly unlikely), then I doubt the jolt has been removed.

Despite the fact there are 6 videos older than it.. I agree with you, however, it isn't really what most people would call a TV ad. And flipping RCT screams...

Bradley's death was quite funny. If anyone started to watch the aftermath on BBC3, you would have seen the blood dripping of his face when he did an interview. Very funny. However, Stacey? Na, don't like it. "Oh, you raped me - I'll kill you." angle isn't what I was hoping for. Something a little for far-fetch and abnormal is what I wanted and expected; after all, it is EastEnders. But oh well, life carries on. Well, except for Bradley of course...
  10. Are those posters advertising Thirteen? If so, what do they say - I can't read it; too blurry.

So, tonight EastEnders fans finally find out who murder Archie Mitchell. But, with about an hour before we find out (we're bound to be told at the end), who do you think done it?My money is one Ben or Jay.

    1) Not too sure, but for a peak day, I'd guess somewhere between 13,000-16,000. However, I'm not too sure.2) All Merlin attractions no idea. However, I know TP was 2.1 million (their highest ever). I think AT was around about the 3 million mark, but again, I'm not too sure.(Oh, and Welsh Boy, sorry, I didn't know - but I thought I'd probably be wrong. )

Occasionally, but I tend to forget about it. :PAnd no. I don't think anyone on here has OCD, but hey, I may be wrong. However, my friend does have mild OCD.

I do. I wear them practically all the time; in and out of school - however, I can still see without them. The only time I don't wear them is whilst I'm doing exercise or going to theme parks.
  15. Cheers for the advice, hopefully when someone tries to use me again, I'll have to the confidence to stand up for myself.
  16. I'm sick of constantly being used. All I ever get out of people is "Can you tell me what the whatever homework?" "Can you help me with my homework?" "Can you tell me what to do?" "Can you do this for me?" "Can you do that for me?" I'm a kind person, so try and help people out, yet I still get treated as if I do nothing for nobody. Half the people who add me on MSN just ignore me when I speak to them, and only talk to me when they need help with school work or just general stuff. It gets so annoying when it feels all I do is help people, yet get nothing in return. In the past, whenever I've said "NO, stuff off!", it's caused nothing but trouble, causing them to hate me, and then more people to hate me in turn, hence the reason why I've been pretty much a social outcast for most of my ife. As much as I would just like to say no, I just can't, because in the end, the last thing I need is more people disliking me, especially when I've just begun to get more socially excepted.Argh!

I've just aimlessly read through 50-odd pages of this topic. Yes, I have nothing to do (well, except start some IT coursework, talk to friends, research Greek Mythology, tidy my room...)

But it's not only a maze; it's a SAW maze! Therefore, there's more of a chance you'll get a few SAW enthusiasts from America (where SAW is much more popular) so they can say they've done a SAW maze (or maybe even 2) as well as a SAW roller coaster. If it was just a maze, yeah, I'd completely agree with you. But because it's SAW, you can't predict how much of an increase the park will get.

Well, it really does depend on how much publicity they put behind it. They of course know how much of an advertising campaign they are going to do, and in the end, that is one of the main ways they get gate figures to rise. If they don't advertise it that much, then of course there won't be a significant rise. I still however feel there will be a lot of guest there. In the end, it is new, and the public try to go for new rides first. Then of course you've got the ride itself, which will still be very popular.

True. Hopefully it will work out like this, but only time will tell.

The only reason I'm going on SAW Alive is for the sake of saying I've done it. I have low expectations for the experience of it and will probably do it once or twice and be done with it. Thing is, with Thorpe's horror mazes (I haven't been in horror mazes elsewhere, so don't want to generalize), the actors only pick on the ones who look scared. Like last FN, the actors just tried to scare the person at the front (because that's who they saw first) and then my cousins (who are small, 12 year old girls) and occasionally the one at the back. Because I was just floating somewhere near the front or back and I didn't look scared, none of the actors interacted with me (sorry, one did) which made them extremely boring. I'm just hoping for more re-rides on Inferno and Detonator at the beginning of the day. Wild Asia is something I'm looking forward to. Hopefully, I'll be able to get to Cheesie a couple more times this season as I unfortunately never got the chance to go last year. Thirteen. It's a ride I'm on the fence about. It seems good one minute and bad the next. Nonetheless, I'm going to AT this year. Thinking of going for 3 days, but it'll probably only end up being 2. Haven't been since 2006 and probably won't again for a while. And I'm trying and trying and trying to organise a trip to Flamingo Land. My mum and nan really want to go as well, but it's just getting there that's the problem. I'm just pleading and pleading and pleading, but it is unlikely to happen. However, I'm trying to get my uncle to take me to BPB with him in the summer - if he goes. He goes once a year, but he keeps saying he probably won't go this year because he's short of money. I understand that and all, but I'm still trying to persuade him - it'll probably be to no avail, not oh well, no harm in trying.
  22. Hey everyone,Basically, I'm stopping the Quiz for a while. For whatever reason, there's been great dis-interest in it, as has there in James' Challenge. I'm planning on stopping it till TP opens again, when hopefully the forum will be buzzing a bit more and the Quiz will get more interest. Thanks to everyone who entered this week and last. However, I'm not going to give out this week's answers yet, as I may use it as one to ease into the Quiz when it restarts. I may rethink the whole idea of the quiz, including how to enter and the actual layout and so forth. If anyone has any ideas, please PM me. Many thanks,Josh

The track HAS to shack. If it didn't, it would snap - then the ride would collapse. All coasters do it, however, I would say it is shaking much more than I've seen some others. It's probably because it is test runs and the track itself is only bi-rail. Some may say it is even the world first element - shaking track. But I won't go there...
  24. Woo - Surrey rules! Hey, you're lucky - I'm lucky even to go to AT - I've only been once - that was in 2006. :DWelcome to the forums though.
