Long Term Plan
It's part of the development plan that was put in earlier this year. It looks like you've commented on it above. Anyway the official document from the Chessington site. Unless you're solely referring to the gruffallo bit at the bottom in which case time will tell. https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.chessington.com/downloads/plan/local-residents/future-development-display-boards-2016.pdf&ved=0ahUKEwichrv34srOAhWoDcAKHbLtDSEQFggaMAA&usg=AFQjCNHjK8-tThRkIS0Gf_nM17hGHh1ZQQ

Opening Times
Thorpe Park used to get busy in the late 90s on their midnight closes. They offered a discounted ticket after 4pm and this encouraged people to come. Summer nights wasn't popular as it was a separate ticket and only the big coasters were open rather than the whole park. Its purely how the park manage a later opening as to whether it would be popular or not.

Opening Times
I actually prefer the park having some closed days as they can use those days to properly sort out any minor issues and actually clean properly.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach
At BPB they still insist on the stamp just incase the wristband has been somehow removed and placed onto another wrist. This is what I was told when I asked why I needed my hand stamped earlier this year.

Chessington General Discussion
Can't imagine it being Chessington as that has some of the cleanest water to be found on a log flume.

Hyperia Speculation and Construction Thread
Well it looks better than SW8

Bubbleworks
So this is Professor Burp.... (I don't know why the picture has pasted with stuff in another language underneath. Bizarre)

The Chessington Adventure Tree
It is replacing the donut stall.

Bubbleworks
Check out some pictures of the old posters and station on the British Dark Rides Project Facebook page. Brings back memories of the real Bubbleworks. https://www.facebook.com/britishdarkrides/photos/?tab=album&album_id=755965204471431

The Chessington Adventure Tree
It's a new carousel rather than moving the current one. I am really going to miss the current one for one thing... The spinning seats!

Stealth
Strange how we all have differing experiences, because I have been going to Thorpe Park regularly for donkeys years and almost every visit Stealth goes down at some point (usually while I am in the queue), yet Nemesis Inferno I have only seen break down twice other than its long period of down time in it's opening year making it for me probably the second most reliable ride on park behind Swarm.

Bubbleworks
The park are offering tours for £35 for those interested. I like how it says meet professor burp. Didn't think they kept any of the original props/animatronics. Plus Professor Burp is currently buried under a tombstone located on the path to Vampire haha. Bubbleworks is an iconic attraction at Chessington Resort and we would like to invite you behind the scenes one last time. Learn the history of the ride and meet Professor Burp, take home a limited edition Bubbleworks Pop Badge and go where no one else has been before for photos and fun on a factual tour inside the attraction.

Chessington Park Operations
Often with Chessington and operations comes negative comments but one positive today was that despite Dragons Fury being down most of the afternoon, they got it fixed at 455 and actually still opened it when they could have literally just thought might as well leave until tomorrow.

The Blue Barnacle (Previously Black Buccaneer)
This ride is so painfully slow to queue up for. Half hour almost for three cycles as they were trying to find adults to sit on the edge. Such bizarre policies these days. Miss they days of quickly on, quickly check and off you go all in about 90 seconds. A shame as it is one of the better pirate ships out there.

Hyperia Speculation and Construction Thread
Didn't stop Cedar Point who already had Maverick. But yes I agree, extremely unlikely.

Dobble Tea Party / Storm In A Teacup
You clearly haven't had a spin on the Carousel at Chessington! That might be possible to fall out!
-
Canada Creek Railway: The Bear Hunt
I think the main reason is preparing the area for this years new Halloween attraction Platform 15.

Pleasurewood Hills
With all this talk of Bubbleworks closing down, at least they have given warning. Pleasurewood Hills have just posted this on their Facebook page: "Sadly the Rattlesnake will not re-open for the remainder of the 2016 season. Keep checking our Facebook and Twitter page for further updates and future developments." Wonder why?

Bubbleworks
Sign away Bubbleworks lovers!!!! I would only want to keep Bubbleworks if they reverted to an exact replica of when it first opened, never gonna happen though. https://www.change.org/p/merlin-entertainments-keep-bubbleworks-open-a9f9fa4c-443b-40b8-bc33-70bc82d699f6?recruiter=577280066&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=share_page&utm_term=mob-xs-share_petition-no_msg&recuruit_context=fb_share_mention_control&fb_ref=Default

The Blue Barnacle (Previously Black Buccaneer)
It's been open a few weeks.

Bubbleworks
I reckon it will remain. Not going to be much time to change the ride system with whatever is taking over by March. I reckon it will simply be a new theme much like when Charlie took over Toyland Tours.
-
Tidal Wave
150 minute queue earlier on today, guessing it's running 2 boats as I haven't seen the third (green) boat all season. Anyone know what happened to it (if it's still not there)?
