Planet Coaster - new theme park sim from Frontier makers of Elite: Dangerous
Have to say the more time goes on the more I like this game. Looks to be better than RCT World in my opinion. Two development diary videos have been released. A LOT of detail seems to be going into the landscape and buildings from the stuff shown in the latest video.

Alton Towers News
They do talk garbage majority of the time, but it could be a good thing them featuring the potential ride closures as many more people will contact the park saying they think it is disgusting, prompting the park to think twice IF they are planning on closing some or all of these rides in 2016. Alton do seem to be a park that listen, they have reverted altered opening times in the past and scrapped Blade's removal due to many complaints just to name a few.

Thorpe Park's Old Days
It still plays that theme to date. Just that track was played more widely along with the other one in the area back in the day. It also played on the beach for a couple of seasons before the pop music.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland
The lineup has virtually been released officially for a few days now via the park map on the official site http://www.hydeparkwinterwonderland.com/content/downloads/Winter-Wonderland-PRINT-Map_5.11.pdf

Canada Creek Railway: The Bear Hunt
Fair point comparing to Miss Hippos Fungle Safari. I still find it Shocking that a big company like Merlin just leave things.

Canada Creek Railway: The Bear Hunt
Why have four seasons passed and the ride not been removed? Surely they would have ripped the entire track up not just the damaged section adjacent to saw?

Chessington General Discussion
These aren't necessarily a bad thing. It could mean that rides actually have some time spent on them during the season making reliability better in the long run.

Canada Creek Railway: The Bear Hunt
Wasn't its main reason for closing was the cost of fuel to run the train? Those costs are currently 25p a litre less roughly compared to 2011. I still don't understand how the whole thing hasn't been taken out if there are firmly no plans for it to return. The only part removed was literally the small section beside saw that was damaged by the cherry picker being stored on it for a couple of years. The ride does suit the demographic as they have gone for a more family friendly approach since last year.

Closed Rides
So slammer was open again today despite them saying it was closed for the rest of the season only two days ago. Strange.

Slammer
Strange as a post on twitter two hours ago says slammer and tidal wave are the planned closures in response to a ride availability tweet. It was also completely dead yesterday with no work being done. But nonetheless if it is open then great news.

Fright Nights 2014
Some of the " film director" announcements used in 2014 and the couple of years before can be found here for those interested... http://www.wimbledonsound.com/fright-nights-at-thorpe-park/

New for 2016 - Park-Wide Improvements
Yeah I just read this too. Would be a good choice for the park as they are high capacity at 48 riders per ride, something the park lacks in.

Samurai
It seems that zeroing is such a common problem with the ride. It only has this issue as the ride lowers at the exact same place it starts. All other topscans I've ridden lower wherever and don't have this issue.

Dreamland Margate
Great video of the Scenic railway before opening. Includes some commentary about the ride and how it works.

Fright Nights 2015
Yep they showed up around 5. All dressed as if they were going to a party or club. To be fair they didn't really cause much trouble from what I saw.

Fright Nights 2015
Surprisingly upon arrival no random checks through the security scanners or bag checks either. I did think an event like this would have had that like previous years.

Fright Nights 2015
I have to agree there too, I have enjoyed myself today but the acting and costumes definitely not as good as previous years. Park music is not great either, I miss the days of every ride having a different track, and them all playing loud. There is little atmosphere with the volume being as low as it is in most of the areas this year. As an example. the whole of the Stealth area for instance has one speaker playing music near the shop, and the platform playing its circus theme fairly quietly I actually really enjoyed Big top, I saw at least 7 actors and got placed into a dead end with just two others in the mirror maze, to then be chased out.

Samurai
It still hasn't begun testing yet but engineers were still working on it early afternoon today. It doesn't look quite ready for testing yet as there are still some panels missing off of the back of some of the seats and the area the parts were stored, near the exit ramp still looks quite a mess. Hopefully it won't be too long and lets hope they use this week to sort out the final bits and bobs.

Vortex
Vortex was certainly running well today as mentioned by Dean. Was a nice surprise to see it open. I have to say I didn't feel the cycle was any shorter than when described above.

Park Operations
Most queue times were wrong today, but mostly in favour. Saw at 11:30 said 45 minutes and we walked on, and even allowed to go under the chain back on as it was so quiet. X has remained at 20 - 25 mins almost all day and on all my rides it was 5 minutes. Colossus, stealth and Swarm once advertised as 15 or 10 minutes but again virtually walk on. The only ride we waited a long time for was Nemesis Inferno at 25 minutes, but it didn't dispatch a train for 10 minutes during the wait. My Bloody Valentine was 10 minutes at about 4pm and looked only slightly longer around 7pm. Big top took 20 minutes (see pic of queue below). Cabin was about 20 minutes and Saw seemed much longer so we didn't bother, but heard someone say they waitied just under an hour, so likely that was the longest maze queue. Fast track sales were low too which helped. Also worth noting all rides at full capacity. It was so quiet at times, look at some of the queueline pictures I took...
