2014 Season
Ever since the entrance theme was used it always went into the quantum theme at the end of the main track. The quantum part was known as "thorpe theme".

Port Aventura
Queue jumping was horrendous. Have to say Port Aventura was the worst experience of queuing out of every theme park visit I've ever had

2014 Season
The entrance track as well as others such as air, bubbleworks and Colossus was created by Ian Habgood. You can find out more at these two links: http://www.habgoodmusic.com/ http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/sep99/articles/readerzone.htm

Port Aventura
Check the port aventura trip reports page for my report earlier in the season. Insanely busy although it was the first day of season. However the school I work in had a trip to spain two weekends ago and they visited Port Aventura on a sunday and most rides were walk on to 10 mins.

Return of Reserve N Ride?
So I have a question. How does this work if say your time comes for swarm but you are only half way through a 30 minute queue for say rush as an example. Would you be expected to leave and go to Swarm?

Angry Birds Land
Here is a video interviewing Jason Wills the parks marketing director about Angry Birds and the parks new family friendly approach.

Park Music
Fantastic news. What is the future of the Noise, is that going to continue to be played in dome and beach areas or will those areas change too?

Park Music
Just read this on thrill nations facebook page. Apparently meant to be from monday. Lets wait and see. Would be great to hear end of day music again as well but I guess one step at a time haha.

Canada Creek Railway: The Bear Hunt
This shows the trains and depot in a much clearer way. All three trains still there and of course the very last (I think) remaining old school Thorpe Park logo. Skip to 2:05.

Rameses Revenge
This is a top spin (smaller model) running insane!! Crazy! Was it this one you saw?

Chessington General Discussion
What is the reason for sometimes not having 4 adults being allowed in one car? Both my visits this year they haven't implemented that rule.
-
Angry Birds Land
Wouldn't be surprised if they don't. This is the third season in a row that they still haven't fixed Saw's queueline audio!
-
Park Operations
But the question still remains. What are they going to do to sort out the car park congestion? It happens far too often.
-
Rush
It was an issue with restraints on swing A that closed the ride at about 5:55pm on Tuesday, so guess they've been having ongoing issues with them.

2014 Season
It doesn't help that many people are stupid and don't realise they have to pay. They then get to the barrier and have to faff looking for money. Additionally the people queuing up at the AP building to buy a ticket then have someone come out telling them they can just pay at the barriers, again causing a hold up whilst the staff have to give change. I find it interesting that there aren't any machines at all near the entrance/exit (or anywhere) for people that have forgotten to purchase a ticket. This would really help!

Colossus
Yesterday I didn't see the nest either, but did notice between Samurai and Saw plaza a Swan sitting on its large nest. So it's not just the bird!

Thorpe Park Trip Reports
Inferno staff were excellent yesterday in terms of dispatching speed (well in the afternoon). Most trains were sent literally as the other train was pulling into the brake run. My train went straight through. But I did see three trains in a row get dispatched with at least four empty seats.

Thorpe Park Trip Reports
Good trip today. Fairly busy but have to say operations on all the coasters were good leading to queues moving faster than usual. Swarm in particular was run exceptionally well (minus the bagging area exit) and the train dispatched majority of the time before the other train even hit the brakes resulting in it crawling up the lift hill at a slow speed until about 3/4s of the way up. Zodiac and Slammer (didn't see it testing) closed all day and Rush closed in morning and had restraint problems around 5:45. Still no Saw queueline music. Thought I heard someone say it was fixed at start of season???

Chessington General Discussion
My friend arrived to Chessington at 12:30pm and there was still a large queue at the admission turnstiles. It was VERY busy apparently.

Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach
TBH I am just hoping that the ride is having a new filtered or chlorinated water system installed. It has to be the log flume with the most vile water in my opinion.

Port Aventura
Both were on two trains. I can't imagine how they would cope with three trains as both rides had us sit in the break run for at least 30 seconds on two trains, however in their defence I suppose it would be many staff members first open day which would naturally make things a little slower than usual.
