There a pic of this? Sounds like the old Great Wall tarp they put up on Dragon Falls a few years back...

Most tend to have a sort of 'queue jump' system nowadays where if it does reject you you get led directly to a person... I love the plane rush because it's SO ridiculous, though it only been down to the allowing actual luggage on the flights and people MUST have it in the overheads... People watching is so fun when travelling anywhere though really...

It's not about stalling though is it? Can't imagine Vortex would like a strong gust of wind hitting it, whereas Zodiac would probably fall apart...

Mean Streak was bloody terrible, glad it's finally gone so I never have to experience the awfulness again... I mean, this could have literally been a Wacky Worm and it still would've been an improvement...

*voms* Someone needs to stop allowing Roland on No Limits when drunk...

I wonder how much of that was down to the ground survey team getting it completely wrong?

Don't get me started on them completely ignoring the REAL SW6 valley coaster woodie... Are we surprised they'd focus on the pre-show/theme given that there's bugger all to the ride portion? Also one of the images is a TIE Fighter...

Wiener Prater Trip Report
Volares are VILE contraptions... Prater is a weird place, it'd be tonnes better if there was some form of wristband system though, getting all the creds is such a wallet eater; but it's obvious why they have it like that... It's a shame cos there were a few other rides I would've happily done if I'd paid say, €20-30 (maybe even €40, since there is a tonne of stuff around) to do so... Shame you didn't do the Boomerang and it's terrifying restraint system though... Best permanent ride there (I went when Olympia Looping was around last year) is Megablitz though, purely because it's firmly beyond the mediocre category that the rest of the park sits in...

Disneyland Paris
It'd be nice if DLP ever got the rides that they deliberately left space for (Indiana Jones dark ride for the example), or a Splash Mountain/Grizzly River Run ride in Frontierland... Let's be honest, they need a clone of the Beauty and the Beast ride Tokyo is getting...

Phantasialand
Look infinitely more comfortable that the original Flying Dutchman restraints... https://rcdb.com/2514.htm#p=65470 Be interesting to see how comfortable they are though, certainly not as bulky as Air's but potentially allows a bit more in the way of freedom like the Wing-Riders/Invert/whatever other vest restraint B&M are doing on...

Well we live in a world where we don't condemn the actions of those who follow Nazi ideology so who knows where the line is drawn?

Alton Towers General Discussion
I've never understood the wearing passes around necks thing... It's ASKING for them to be nicked or something... One of the worst times was when Chessie (and I think maybe the others?) had the novel idea of allowing MAP holders to use the Fastrack queues for the last hour of the summer holiday... Needless to say the arrogance and downright anger because everyone took use of it meant it never happened again...

It really wasn't that great, last time I rode it it bounced around a few parts as well... I think there's a lack of soul to the Intamin prefabs as well, over engineering removing some of the charm and flaws that wooden coasters work well on... I'm so non plussed at the idea of Colossos being spited...- Phantasialand

They'll just ask for more regular checks at an internal level... Anything even approaching a hairline fracture will be replaced instantly, as it's quite likely that this could have developed since the annual testing (assuming the American ADIPS works to a similar level as the UK)...- Vampire
IF the parks got sold off, their success would pretty much be depending on WHO got them... I'd be more optimistic for Chessie's future under Plopsa then say Parques Reunidos (although I'm sure many would not be happy by the further cookie cutter areas that Plopsa would provide) because it would suit their market perfectly... HOWEVER, Thorpe under Plopsa would be completely wrong and arguably suit Parques Reunidos better... I think herein lies the rub, as it's unlikely that Merlin would sell them all off individually (and I also doubt they'd want rid of Legobland), so would there be an individual company willing to take on 3 parks where 2 of them desperately need high levels of reinvestment in infrastructure?- Merlin Entertainments
Would we not rather they get their existing houses in order first before spending further monies?- Vampire
It's a Vekoma thing, like pretty much every single one does the whole "stop, start, stop, start" thing when parking... Though perhaps they've fixed it with newer attractions? My mind is completely blank on the SFCs... - Heide Park
