  1. Posted by Thorpe park official on facebook today: "What's your worst fear? It might just be coming to THORPE PARK as our new attraction for Fright Nights this year..." Maybe it will be about phobias?
  2. It's horrendous the people you get at Thorpe park - a few weeks back I saw chavs on rumba rapids all standing up in the raft laughing - they ruin It for everyone!
  3. I enjoyed se7en more last year than before - it was creepier, some scenes looked better and although it has never been close to a favourite I actually liked it last year. Curse on the other hand was just pitch black corridors with a few almost pitch black rooms last year - what is the point really? Still, as long as they keep Asylum and Experiment 10 I am happy
  4. Yes, mazes should open at 3.
  5. 11 times this year, and my favourite Thorpe park ride is The Swarm.
  6. Yes if that turns out to be the "new maze" then I will be disappointed. It's an ok maze imo but it would be a false claim.
  7. If it does turn out to be a scare zone then I would imagine that it will be about The Swarm
  8. Oh yeah good point, I wasn't sure wheather the seats were still there or not.
  9. It could be a possibility that Se7en gets relocated to inside the time voyagers building? (Or another maze?)
  10. Lots of dark corridors with holes in the walls for the actors to jump out of. There were also several big and well themed rooms that were used by actors. It was a very long maze and there was a spinning tunnel as well.
  11. Maybe Hellgate is returning as a new maze (or maybe completley rethemed?) I hope so because I thought hellgate was a great maze - Very long, well themed and lots of different places where actors hid and jumped out.
  12. Went today - no fire, barley any water and the helicopter blades were not spinning
  13. I wonder what it will be - I saw a poster outside the park today that said "Fright nights - New horror attraction".
  14. I have always thought that just calling it Inferno would be better tbh.
  15. Another great bit of extra theming for The Swarm! Although I think it would have looked better the right way up without the rock if you know what I mean - still tilted but not upside-down. Still, well done again Thorpe
  16. I went to Thorpe park today (Friday.) TIME IN PARK: 9:30am - 2:45pm RIDECOUNT: The Swarm x2 (Not running well at all today as well as last time I visited, for details please see my post in The Swarm topic.) X:/ No way out x2 Stealth x2 Storm surge x1 (Very few spinners now and the ones that are there don't work.) Detonator x1 HIGHLIGHTS: - Queues were not as long as I expected them to be (Except for The Swarm - One train service until 12 ) - Stealth being open despite some problems earlier in the week. LOWLIGHTS: - Almost all effects on Swarm were off and the fire stopped working at around 11 - Storm surge has barley any spinners and the ones that are there don't work much - Rumba rapids was closed - Dispatch times on The Swarm were lousy
  17. I would like to see a retheme of X no way out and a major clean up of Colossus and Nemesis inferno as well as theming and making Storm surge look nicer. A new flat ride would be nice though
  18. The dragon has had a great new paint job, I saw it on Tuesday.
  19. The Swarm was very poor today. - Until around 12 noon it was running a one train service with a 90 minute queue. - The fire effect stopped working today at around 11, meaning that I didn't get a ride with it on. - There were no water skims operating at all today despite the hot weather. - The sound effects were out of time - The dispatch times were quite lousy. - On some rows the LED's were not working. Sort it out Thorpe park!
  20. I went on Tomb blaster on Tuesday and I have to say that the ride experience is much better now - more effects, better lighting and some new scenery. I still think that the fences are a bit over the top though.
  21. This appeared on my Facebook newsfeed today from Park logic: Guests took for an unexpected thrill on the Alton Towers yesterday as after park close the park's Cow themed monorail crashed. While details are sparse on the event, however a recent Facebook post on the park's page from someone on board the Moonorail gives a slight insight in to what happened. "Hi, I just wanted to leave a message for your staff! Me and my friends were a little injured yesterday on the monorail and every member of staff who came to help us was fantastic, they kept everyone calm and were very understanding and reassuring. The medical staff were outstanding too and clearly knew what they were doing! The driver of the monorail even came to see us in the Medical Centre at half 8 last night just to make sure we were okay! What a hero! Hope everyone else got away as relatively luckily as us. Thanks again " No major injuries have been reported.
  22. That looks horrendous, it completley ruins the theming and looks tacky! Was it really needed? Couldn't the old fences have been fixed instead of all this?
  23. The fire and Ambulance look amazing!
  24. Wow, I haven't ever seen mist being used on that side before Can't wait for SW7
