It might be worth thinking twice of what you say before you start slagging off people's homes / hometowns etc. The town itself is in a better condition than some might think, but unfortunately some people are too stubborn to look any further than down the end of their own nose, at the world around them and see that plenty of places aren't all sunny and bright

I seen on the news about how the promenade and road was completely closed off with signs ripping off etc. Did worry for the actual tower itself which I'm sure they'll need to thoroughly check the tower when the weather backs off to reopen (?), shocked to hear the roof has ripped off, and really hope BPB is intact... I mean as for the big one don't think it could have any more supports so sure its fine aha!

No worries - it's worth a go if you are in the area, but I wouldn't travel there specifically for the aquarium.

I don't much like the London one, it's always packed full of people so you can't really see anyway and there's nothing that stands out about it.

That's a "GREAT" video. It feels so weird to see X "Colon Backslash" No Way Out actually being promoted and looking faintly impressive. Poor thing, it only wanted to be understood.

It's not so much the Scarefest hours. It's the fact they persist with closing at 5 or 5.30pm even when it's still quite busy at those times.

I found the (new) Dungeons to be really good actually. Very atmospheric and well themed with lots of humerous touches such as the singing heads at the exit. The Traitor boat ride and Extremis were very good too.
That bring said, never went to the old dungeons, so I can't give a full opinion on that aspect.

I will finally be visiting the new London Dungeons next weekend!

Breaching health and safety rules in such a way is ridiculous, it's people like you who ruin our rides for everyone.
(Anyone remember the restriction on Rumba Rapids last year because of people standing up?)

Well I just applied to Chessington to be a games host. Hope I do better this time.

Merlin may be the second biggest themepatk group, but they're definately not second best.

Wow I am never going to moan about the Depth Charge queue again! Mind you they probably released boats 3 times faster in those days!

I am actually quite happy with angry bird land especially as I have family who would love to go Thorpe Park but don't want to go on the bigger thrill rides. I for one would love return of proper themed area's especially as far as music is concerned please bring back the entrance theme and end of the day while your at it as they want to appeal to families now.

Exactly, that's my point with the £6 ride pass. It's great that they offer this for situations similar to the one you have stated above, rather than charging full price for a non rider.
In other news, the park now has a guest services centre which I think is brilliant. Also, it's very classy!

Agreed that wristbands are the best way to go with the Pleasure Beach but I find you're first statement invalid. As already stated even to enter Thorpe Park and not ride you have to pay your money. So I think on contrast, yes you can go into Thorpe and walk around, eat some food, play some games, and go on any ride you like; for £6 you get a fair deal on the basis you can do the same except ride a few select rides, and then obviously pay a stupid amount for one-off rides.
Lets be serious you don't go to the Pleasure Beach unless you have a wristband.
