  1. Wow. I think it's time to dust off that old Chessington Zoo signage, it's more apt at the moment. They simply shouldn't have opened yet, this will be pretty brand damaging to anyone who is there, more so than delaying the start of the season would have been.

A friend of mine worked there and loved it. Paid peanuts, you do it for the love of the mouse. Any customer interactive roles require fluent french, but if you are a 'silent' performer (dancer etc) you can get away with gcse level stuff.
  3. As a side note, all these vlog people just seem obnoxious to me.

I know 'kill it with fire' is just a phrase, but they've made it so hideously flammable I'm tempted.

Faint praise indeed. It is miles better than anything comparable that Merlin have thrown together in a good while. In concept, in design and in execution. It seems what they did with Peppa Pig has shown them that going for quality, rather than making a quick buck from the underlying IP with a shabby offering, gives long term results. Obviously the IP got the kiddies there in the first place, but it was the excellence of what they had done with it that has got them returning again and again and got the word spreading. Now they have the confidence to do the same for the slightly older market without feeling the need for the IP draw to kick it all off. It's a win for everyone, especially the guests.

Something to watch when none of the rides are open I suppose. I made it about 5 minutes in before I could tolerate it no more, but then I'm not target audience! Trying to put myself in the kiddies shoes, it seemed to lack interaction. Maybe that improves later in the show, I don't really intend to find out.

Wow, I think we've hit a new low! In a good way. You deserve some sort of medal for your honesty putting that out there.
  8. As reported by Towers Street, off peak days are to 16.30 close! That Chuckle Brothers pic is going to get a hell of a workout this season I think.
  9. Some of the IAC clothing... New Stealth bear... (TPM FB)

15.00 yesterday my sky packed up, along with most of Essex it seems. I still have no internet and no time given for when they'll fix it.

    ...and 2006!
  13. Nice work!f If tthat turns out to be accurate it should be great ride. Some of those maneuvers look pretty tight for a dive machine.
  14. How about you wait to see it for yourself before you form such a strong opinion? It might make you seem less ranty and mental.
  15. I'm hoping AT are using this list to decide how to swing their big budget axe... the blade has gone, be afraid Charlie!
  16. Wow. I'm all for opinions, but these are mental. In what way does one existing destroy or ruin the other? Because 'exit through the shop' is such an intrinsic part of the Inferno experience. Really?

Christ, is this still going? I wish I had an opinion, just to help it die. But I don't.
  19. Clarkson knows how to chill in a crisis
  20. Exam done. it was horrific and I'm certain I've failed. But whatever. Beer in hand already, time to chill.

Pizza Hut, the ride. (was a pizza type at the time, and this rise was thought to be having sponsorship from Pizza Hut)

I actually like the style and feel of the map, but the bulk of the center of the park is far too small. If they kept it to around the same scale but expanded it so the coasters were to the edge of the page, with the text between them rather than outside them, it would work a whole lot better. As it is it's pretty useless and doesn't do justice to a lot of the park.

My theory is pick the longest answer; if it were not correct it wouldn't have been necessary to write so much and they wouldn't have bothered.
  24. Not today, thanks.

I have an exam tomorrow. I've not sat an exam in about 18 years. I should be revising, I'm writing this instead.
