  1. Rides I would have loved to have experienced - As others have said - Big Bad Wolf - that thing looked incredible My first visit to AT wasn't until 2013, so - Thunder Looper Corkscrew Black Hole Energizer/Bone shaker (that thing looked odd but fun) Rides Ive ridden but wish could come back... - Loggers Leap - Forbidden Tomb - Original vampire - Prof Burps Bubbleworks (no ducks!) - Submission - Rodeo (but on The Juggler setting!)
  2. Winter....yes winter is my rant. I hate it - if I was rich and not scared of flying I would happily sod off to a sunnier climate for a few months each year. The clocks went back weeks ago and it was only yesterday I changed the wall clock in my living room to the right time. I'm fairly certain I have SAD or some form of it - every year is the same - my mood gets low, tiredness gets worse and just as it starts to get dark I have the overwhelming urge to go to bed. It doesn't help that Xmas is just around the corner which I struggle with at the best of times. Also - teeth (again) - I now have a lovely tooth with a huge crack in it on the other side of my gob where the other problem is (filling fell out and I then yanked out the tooth - root is still there). Managed to get some cocodomol from my GP which I'm never taking again - felt so ill on it. And finally (wow this is very ranty) - I have no problems whatsoever helping people out but when someone blatantly takes the p1££ I get angry - when you help someone out and it costs not only your time but a considerable amount of money, stress etc - next time the answer will be no. God I'm on a roll - I have 2 more ranty things but I'll just sit and stew on them until I turn into a proper moaning old cow
  3. Shove me down as a yes - but I ain't going on The London Eye
  4. Oh jeez - probably CCR - first visited in the very early 90s and was scared of pretty much everything - including Tea Cups and Flying Fish Thanks for asking this question as I was about to - am a tad confused
  5. The usual Merlin parks, Oakwood hopefully. Would love to go abroad but scared of flying and extremely poor at the moment.
  6. Zodiac can be quite disorientating - I put off going on it for quite a while and it was the only one I needed to have gone on all the rides at Thorpe. I was expecting it to be worse than it was - saying that I do take motion sickness pills which I think help massively especially with flat rides. I would just personally not go near it if you've recently eaten! Slammer looks a heck of a lot worse than it actually is - I love it bar one time when I asked the ride host to ram me into my seat tight and I was struggling to breath. It sometimes makes me feel a bit light headed or headachy but it is a unique ride and worth trying at least once. Samurai I love - I'm a bit of a wuss and always try to sit on the very inner seat but have ventured as far as one from the outside- it's not massively intense but if you get a good cycle it's decent and worth doing.
  7. Went on Adventureville 3 times on Saturday and actually really liked it - the music is really happy and although the theming isn't out of this world, it's a fun little ride - fab for kids (and big kids!)

    15 Years of Fear

Totally agree with your comments regarding Platform 15 - hopefully if it's back next year it will be improved - it has massive potential especially with all of the space available
  9. Should be able to make this meet - I just LOVE chrimbo.....bah humbug
  10. As always, nice to see you - and at Steath! What are the chances! I think we got last ride of the season on DBGT - technically rode it 3 times today as it broke down on second VR section so we got another go
  11. Yes Rush is the giant swings with lap bars so she must have real problem with her boobies
  12. Agree about Platform 15 - in daylight (and dark) it isn't scary but to start with do it when it is light. Try them all if you can - if you get scared then try to find humour in the situation - this is what I did when I first did Saw Alive (on my own) - was bricking it but coped by laughing my way through it - once you've done one or two you will probably find them more of a laugh than scary. They can be quite jumpy at times - I was fine the first 2 times I did Big Top but on my last go I did jump a couple of times and ran out at the end but I was laughing and wasn't about to have a heart attack.
  13. That is a damn good bargain which I would have got had I not got my MAP last month - isn't that the same price as gate price?
  14. UnLICK her bra?! lol! Well yeah - on Rush if your chest area is THAT big all I imagine you would need to do would be to whop them over the lap bar - could be an uncomfortable ride mind you
  15. Well if she couldn't fit on Rush because of her chest then all I'm saying is they must hang extremely low Plenty of people can't get on certain rides because of size restrictions and have to exit the ride (not walk through the queue line!) - she obviously wasn't that traumatised by the event because she went off to the press.

    Pets

Haven't read this thread for a while now - I hate reading about pets who have passed away - it's so sad because they are part of the family and the loss is massive. One of my foster cats was taken ill at the beginning of Feb - she had numerous health problems which wanted me adopting her. She had to be put to sleep which upset me so much - only 18 months before that my own cat had died and I was still grieving for him - at least I got a chance to say goodbye to my foster cat - it's frustrating but I don't have the ashes for either cat due to mess ups along the way. I went ahead and adopted my other foster cat and she is adorable - one of her favourite places to sleep is in my wardrobe. I'm also currently looking after a cat for a friendThe white cat is the one that died and the tabby cat is now mine This was my ginger ninja would died following a cat fight 2 years agoAnd this one is the cat I'm looking after who likes to kip on my back
  17. Really glad I came along to this (thanks to Roodie for helping with my anxiety and for the lift) - my first meet in almost 3 years and was great to see everyone. Had such a laugh - and you lot that did FIA are braver than me - the state of some of you when you came out .
  18. Completely bricking it but am 90% sure I will be coming to this - it's been nearly 3 years since my last meet so it would be fab to see everyone again and of course meet new people. Really anxious but hoping that will ease off
  19. My order goes - Saw, Swarm, Stealth, Colossus then Inferno
  20. Couldn't have put it better myself! In all seriousness, I have a mild clown phobia - it used to be a lot worse than it is now and I've read some articles about this clown craze thing and some of them looking terrifying. It seems to be becoming more a thing over here and I don't like it. I had to walk to the shop in the dark last night and was mainly scared I would come across one of the freaky looking things. I get that Halloween is just around the corner and I'm all for people having fun but this is a tad extreme - jumping out on people etc - lots of people hate clowns and the shock of it could give someone a heart attack (might sound extreme but ya never know). I did see a funny video earlier on FB of someone that saw one who was blocking his way home so he confronted the "clown" and said clown bricked it and ran away.
