Interesting article on this project...
A CEO , who is qualified for the role, perhaps this could happen.

That would very much depend on the lunar cycle. Maybe you could find out on a forum about the moon.

This is the ride I have dreamed of them building!
At least one Merlin Park is getting a coaster then.
Just a tad creepy, this is a park designed for children, this isn't a Thorpe RMC announcement.

Honestly Merlin should just sell Thorpe to Six Flags. Give a trashy park to a trashy chain.
Six flags does have it's flaws too. Plus I don't think Six flags would know too well how to work with the planning constraints of the UK market.

Might go do my own construction update. Also is that watermark new theming soon to be added to X? Looks sick.

Hi guys, quick question about this ride and, er, larger people! I have read quite a few posts saying those of the larger variety should not even attempt this ride so wanted to clarify. I am 18. 5 stone and 6ft 1. To be forgiving to myself it is mostly gut (about 36-38 waist) and I dont really think my legs, chest etc are that fat. I'm more muscular than fat, just with a belly. I am below the 50 inch chest rule. So I just wondered what chance I would have on this ride? I heard the height may be a problem too? I have also heard about a weight limit, is that correct?
I am also eyeing up Monkey Swinger as a potential problem for me. Those seats dont look particularly roomy. Is there a weight limit on this? I assume those chains are more than strong enough but you know what the brain is like, soon as I am up there I will be convinced I will be launched across the park due to them snapping 😜
.
Sorry for all the questions, I'm not so worried about the walk of shame for myself but letting my little girl down after queuing would break my heart.
Height wise I think you will be fine I'm 6'8 and have given up on it by when I was 6'4 I could still fit. Under 2m you will be fine. Weight wise IDK, as I'm lanky.

Blair Witch will be 6 years old this year. 😫

Why dont we just go on the Thursday night instead when the park is empty. Avoid both?

Judging by height, capacity and the plans, it seems like this will be a SBF-VISA Drop’N Twist.
For a long time Chessington was THE family theme park in the UK - now it’s clear that Paultons are the trend setters, with Chessington stuck in 2012.
Paulton's has it floors too and what happens when they loose the Peppa pig IP?

Does anyone remember experiencing my bloody Valentine I eventually got the blue ray I did of the 2009 remake the movie is based on does anyone remember vaguely if it was a good maze or scary because I seriously liked the movie and I wish the maze came back plus I have read reviews from total thorpe park page and from jack silkstone video. That fright nights 2013 was the best FN with the lion's gate Take over plus I understand that year thorpe was trying to be like Halloween horror nights in Orlando plus I have had a thought thorpe should do an icon of a character each year this may work to get the popularity of the event again as I have read the event has gone downhill plus Thorpe if they went this direction don't use the same character icons as Halloween horror nights. Lastly, I am going to say just let's hope this year is better than last year, I am not happy that terror at amity high is back but at least they get there show this year I understand big top showtime was trying to be like the circus show at tulleys in a way plus I am going next year if big top does not make its return I will just go to tulleys next October plus I am pretty sure their circus 3D maze is good.
Remember most of these reviewers were too young to go in any mazes pre 2013 so there reviews are a tad unbalanced. I'd argue that 2011 was the best year. Why? Because the park was full of original content.

Cool look forward to it.

It more of the point of look we have something which looks like a cool and fun, themed family drop tower coming to the park in the future why can't we just appreciate that.

So we're losing two flats (Buccaneer and Rameses) and only getting one?
Who said we were loosing Buccaneer. Does every positive have to turn into a negative from you?
-
Ah yes so instead we go on the busy Saturday and then complain when we didn't have the chance to finish all the mazes!

I am going to be really really terrified in creek freak massacre I will be doing tulleys next year to compare it
We may be waiting a while for the review then....

Hopefully Thorpe will buy the bell ride.

I think it's poor, it is advertised as a major selling point of the MAP but you can't use it all the time.
And what would £15 get you at Tulley's a bit of street entertainment. At the end of the day you would be complaining that the park was too busy in your review if they sold entry at £15.

I guess that's their attempt at moving people away from the mazes to spread the queues. But on a lively day, people will struggle to do all mazes and all coasters imo. Seems like they're shooting themselves in the foot.
Answer will be on the MAP group one day in. Then there will be no stock left.

Share The Fun vouchers cannot be used during Fright Nights this year.
Makes sense that is what oversells the park. £15 is way too cheap for FN entry.
-
Are the parks no longer allowed to trial new additions then..... in the case of negative feedback?

I'm travelling the 12th and would only be able to make for a couple of hours (assuming Ryanair don't delay me), so the 13th would be better for me!
Always bragging about his next trip 😃
Fright Nights 2019 - General Discussion

It's better than nothing.
Why not go on the Sunday instead then, the crowd levels will still be low and probably even lower than this event where all MAP holders are running to put 1st group in Creek Freak 2019 and simply avoid the spoilers coming from the 'press' night for a few days.
Also if I was a full paying guest and was told to go away when the mazes open at 3pm, I would see it as being quite exclusive.
