It appears the park will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays off peak in May, September and October next year.

The earliest ride close on most Saturdays and throughout Easter and October Half Term has been reduced to 6pm.

Can I insult this? If this was Merlin you would be all on the offensive attach?

People who overlook out-dated social practises just to ride rollercoasters =/

Went out to visit my sister, she hasn't been stabbed yet or put in jail despite being British and out there for four years. Rollercoasters were a bonus despite being too tall for many of them. Also saw no crime, no pickpocketers, and even no litter. Strange too that they have every British store you can think of M&s Waitrose, Costa, Hard rock, Starbucks, KFC you name it they have it.

I won't hide my sexuality to ride a few rollercoasters. Being flogged, imprisoned, tortured or murdered just to ride Flying Aces isn't worth it in anybody's book.

Daily mail readers :/. I guess Dubai will just be my gem to explore.

I was a bit disappointed by the food on my last visit; Polle's was particularly disappointing to the point where I didn't eat a dessert from there...

But all my other experiences with the food on park had been flipping good tbf.

That's what happens though when you go to the restaurant expecting dry hot dogs and chicken nuggets.

Dubai at the moment doesn’t massively interest me compared to other places, but I’m sure that will change in the future. The strict rules out there affecting Brits does also put me off a little.

Media propaganda, don't do anything stupid you won't be put in jail. No crime, Waitrose, Costa, M&S, KFC, Pizza &Pasta, it's all very Westernised now. World-class public transport systems and taxi's cheaper than an oyster fayre. I wouldn't be put off going to Dubai with the worry of breaking a rule.

Maybe you might be put into jail for investigating the country's security systems otherwise I wouldn't worry at all.

Tbf Linnanmäki looks like a solid enough park as it is, just lacked the killer ride. Taiga should take it from a 'visit one day park' to a 'let's plan a trip specifically for this' park for a fair few European enthusiasts.

Keep forgetting Walibi RA is getting their Gerst next year. It's slipped under the radar somewhat after the initial buzz. It's got a non-launched semi-shuttle ending, featuring a switch track to get you back to the station, I believe. Still not sure how I feel about that fad..

Well if you want to complete the Sea life Europe trip you have to go there. Also, nothing will beat Motiongate's Capitol bullet train. Thanks, bye.

  9. Go to this event. Do it.

Park atmosphere and lighting is great.

Creepy caves see you get a tour of a lab by a rude lab lady who doesn't like you talking back so please do be wary here or if not you may be escorted off the park and lose your £4 entry fee.

Anyway she goes on to show you her fridge, was a very nice fridge however it lacked milk, so I don't approve.

I then remember a plant and then all hell hits loose. It's loud it's stroby and it's creepy as you are in a cave after all.

I highly recommend you do this attraction, on your own if possible to add to the immersion.

Tiger rock looks great at night despite the lack of tigers, but a guess everyone deserves a day off.

What happened to Ramesis, it was on a weird cycle and I did not get wet despite sitting front centre.

Tomb blaster haters can sit back in their hater crypts all effects were working.

The curse of the lost tomb is a great interactive attraction with lots of immersion so it also sits well on the lineup.

There is a show with live vocals and dancers.

Overall it's a great event, well down to the whole team at CWOA, just watch out for the dementors at the end of the evening. They may try to capture your soul.

    8/10 Recommend.

Would they consider a Star Shape (a la Danter's Air) to replace Samurai one day do you think? Would be unique to have one permanently... I really do think Thorpe could do with some more flats (that aren't Lumber Jump or Timber Tug ;))

You may have missed Samurai on Saturday but it was top notch.
