We should organise a seperate trip to Tulleys. I'll definately be going to that, not so sure about Fright Nights, especially when the FN meet is about £45 (£50 + parking) indicating it will be busy. Would be nice to go to Tulleys with some of the meet regulars though if anyone's up for it? Got an open dated ticket so any date would be doable.

Setup a Tulley's Park Mania. Let's stay true to our roots.

If it’s not replaced with anything new or it turns into another Walking Dead Maze then no. If it’s the same lineup as last year, I won’t be going anyway.

Don't be silly of course you will go. Even if it's to express your hatred. Why not go to Tulley's every night instead and spend £50 on tickets.

THIS IS WHAT I THINK THIS YEARS MAZE LINEUP AND LOCATIONS WILL BE

    MAZES RETURNING FOR 2018

TWD LIVING NIGHTMARE: NEW FINALE (SAME LOCATION AS 2017)

THE BIG TOP: NEW SCENES (SAME LOCATION AS 2017)

PLATFORM 15: NEW FINALE (SAME LOCATION AS 2017)

TWD SANCTUM: NEW SCENES & FINALE (SAME LOCATION AS 2017)

SAW ALIVE: NEW FINALE (SAME LOCATION AS 2017)

    MAZES NOT RETURNING FOR 2018:

    CONTAINMENT

WE KNOW THERE'S GONNA BE A NEW MAZE FOR 2018 BUT THERE'S RUMORS OF BLAIR WITCH FROM FRIGHT NIGHTS 2013-2016 RETURNING FOR 2018 BUT I THINK IT WON'T HOWEVER I WOULD LIKE TO SEE STUDIO 13 FROM FRIGHT NIGHTS 2014 RETURN FOR 2018 AND I'D LIKE TO SEE IT BEING LOCATED IN THE LAKE VIEW MARQUEE WITH A MULTI ROUTE OPTION or if not MAYBE A MASHUP MAZE with scenes from previous mazes like the freezer, hellgate, experiment 10,the curse,SE7EN ETC

Please refrain from keeping the Caps lock button on it's bloody annoying.

The marque won't be used. That's a corporate space.

Fright Nights lost its way a few years ago for me, my favourite year was 2011 but up until 2015 it was still a fun event.  It seems that with the decision to go with Walking Dead as a year-round theme, there is little in the way of different offerings for October.

Strange opinion, I greatly see Fright nights as a fun event. Especially as it's just the same as TP but with the added value of rides in the dark and a load of mazes, and how much does that added value cost, next to nothing.

I can't imagine it being much longer until people stop visiting, guest experience seems to have plummeted even further this season based on my few visits.

The issue is probably the cheap (£49) season passes, as people will pay upfront and are then locked in for a year regardless of how good/bad the service is.

That said, it's almost as if the park is "artificially busy" in that I'd guess that a very small percentage of guests pay on the day nowadays.

Yet you still buy a pass?

Surprised they didn't use Smiler in a sense of irony tbh

It's the Sun I don't see them going against Merlin anytime soon. Also it looks as if they are using tourism stock images.

    Hi,

Thorpe are advertising a may half term offer where if you have an AP, you can get a friend in for £15 this week.

Can you book this online or is it a turn up only thing, and anyone know if you can take more than one person for £15?

    Turn up at park only.

It was just more of the same really. The maze wasn’t any bigger. The groups of actors made it a little better than usual.

Didn’t start off good as seeing the derelict Slammer up close kind of pissed off a few of us. Then we were separated from everyone we were queueing with. Then I was separated and sent around on my own which had some good interaction with all the actors but my girlfriend was not happy about.

I think Thorpes rule of letting the actors touch you takes away takes away some of the psychological fear. You had to push your way through at some points. I kind of get you’re being mobbed by walkers but it’s kind of awkward that they just block you as in reality they’d be trying to bite you which they obviously can’t do. It doesn’t help either doing the maze in May rather than around Halloween where I’d be more in the mood.

I wish it was more clear if we were going to be sent through alone before going in. Left rather disappointed and annoyed. If that’s the extreme version (best version) of a fright nights maze, I don’t think I’ll be coming back for fright nights this year. The maze is just too short. I’d happily visit Tulleys instead this year with thier huge mazes, loads of actors who can scare you without touching, themed disclaimers and descriptions of the maze before going in.

Were you expecting the maze to bigger? I certainly seeing as it's the same space which has been used for years.

Sounds like the name "Living Nightmare Extreme" has done it's job by sending you around alone.

So you want the actors to bite to live up to the extreme name?! - think that would at least require a wavier and imagine how gross that would be.

BTW lets just spoil one of the mazes possible surprises to live up to the extreme name and not know potentially what may happen inside.

It's very simple to have more actors in May where they have a whole pool of Fight night actors to pick from.

Oh and I'm sure you won't be missing fright nights this year. Also lets remember this is May, the parks open til 10pm and we have an additional attraction which Thorpe did not need to put on. What is there to criticise about a free attraction?

  9. Think I'm most qualified to answer this one. How tall are you I'm 2 meters.

Swarm: Totally fine but depends on ride attendants discression

X: Will be painful on the knees but is possible.

Colossus: I have now given up on the seat belt  needs to be crammed in.

    Nemesis: Enjoy!

    Saw: Enjoy!
