  1. It should make each person you're reserving for put their ticket/annual pass number in to prevent this issue...
  2. noooo... I loved digger challenge, only went on it for the first and only time last year!!
  3. the physical and noise from the dark ride or any other additions probably wouldn't affect it, it's the scale on which it will draw in guests which the council and residents don't want... I'm dreading it for us just sitting here and watching what will probably be the demise of legoland, while paultons park etc. are getting stronger and stronger!
  4. so the heartlake city in florida is getting a zamperla disk'o coaster... I hear windsor is just getting like a meet & greet and show!?
  5. I don't partuarly like RnR and they really cannot run it correctly... It just won't work in a park like Thorpe for every guest... What I have noticed though on the occasions it's been trialling is that it's set up to buy it, RnR will be a replacement of fast track and its actually a good idea as it can be more controlled, but it needs to be tested and made right before it gets used to guests paying for it. That's just my opinion but can't/wouldn't want to see it implemented in any other way, if not at all.
  6. we're all looking at this the wrong way... we should feel privileged that such great ride names are being reused
  7. I'm not even disappointed as we knew it was going to be something like this for ages... This is hilarious!!
  8. Do we know that for sure about the construction access? And I doubt it's difficult for them to get planning permission as angry birds land wasn't an issue and the 2016 ride has now been given permission, unlike the strict rules of Lego land where the park is basically never going to be allowed to get bigger and therefore busier! And as you said a new ride won't be open til a few months into the season anyway so probably won't see anything yet!
  9. So anybody still think we'll see anything new... I was thinking about Feb half term and wondered why Nemesis Inferno isn't going to be open when Nemesis at Alton would be... So possibly there may be something going in the fungle spot for this year. If the question is what then we'll see when Feb half term is on and if the flying fish is where it is and open, as I'm still convinced for some reason it is going to be moved to fungle site and given some sort of scorpion express style treatment. I don't see why it was closed early for it not to be open half term as I don't understand why Thorpe hasn't advertised flying fish and X as being open when they are obvious choices.
  10. 'Notes:When compared to other roller coasters at Alton Towers, this one will set a new record length and be within 3 feet of setting a new record height.'
  11. as mentioned though couldn't a drop tower section though be included as part of the experience... not the main ride itself?
  12. when was the ride enhanced... I can't remember that much about it, but I went back in 2005. I didn't realised it had been enhanced, that explains why it's still regarded as one of the best rides I'm guessing
  13. but the creative risks are what can potentially make something amazing... could have an IP though and still be rubbish..
  14. if it's like any normal one with a chain through the middle of your legs... how on earth do you fall out of one!?
  15. They also used the duplo splash area from another Lego land... What is their problem.
  16. the second has what looks like a castle in the background, so wasn't back from legoland windsor jungle coaster days... I know merlin have theme parks abroad, but this is advertising for the UK, surely they can't be that lazy with making their adverts
  17. What are the two rollercoasters that appear between 0:18 and 0:20... I literally do not recognise either of them.
  18. Forgot to fill in the least favourite theme park... 'This question requires an answer even if you like them all just pretend one was mean to you once.' Did make me laugh
  19. aren't the 6pm close on fridays in april-june new? to be honest can't really fault thorpe's opening times, plus summer nights are amazing!
  20. could be big cook little cook... flying around on the spoon!
  21. So glad I had the chance to go... Completely agree with the report, and amazingly themed park, just let down by most of it's main rides... but Shambhala is worth the trip alone, I managed 20 rides over the weekend! Cheers for the pic of me sleeping... not! it must have comfortable as it actually worked and I was asleep which is very rare for anywhere besides a bed haha!
  22. as per ususal a no from me... and not even due to work - the day I come back from skiing I'm afraid!
  23. there seems to be such a large space available from the pictures... never realised how big the are could be!
  24. Certainly never going to beat last year for theme parks ever again... Was a ridiculous amount for me, usually it's finding people to go with considering I work most week ends! Used up all my holidays from work and my rota comes out 4 weeks in advance so difficult to plan.. Thorpe Park - half term is a must as well as as many trips as possible including 1 or 2 to fright nights. Alton Towers - potentially half term, will probably visit for a couple of nights with my family, along with a couple of other visits, scare fest I'm not that bothered about this year, but fireworks is a must again. Chessington - a few visits would be nice, need to go at least once and preferably Halloween! Drayton manor - love this park and only made one visit last year... Missed out on fireworks too, so definitely aiming for a couple of visits. BPB - I would say not overly fussed... But then they decided to add the flat ride I've really wanted to go on so bad, I think with a 3 and a half hour journey, a day trip is out the question so we'll see. Lisberg - hopefully will get to Lisberg this summer if work allows... Flat ride lineup along with the zierer star shape (I love air!!) Sells it for me and then they have helix and balder, 2 incredible looking rides! Flamingoland - I was dying to go this year as I've never been, but didn't have the time or friends with money as it's like a 4 and a half hour journey so a few days is needed, would also like to go Light water valley at the same time I'm up there, so this is a maybe but definitely hopefully. As for the other parks Lego land is pretty boring so not bothered, a trip may happen.. The other parks just probably won't happen as I just don't want to go there enough so the merlin parks will take priority... Oakwood may happen if they do eventually get a new ride.
