Dayum. Well as a few people know I run a youtube too, and I've got a pretty secure mount. Having a GoPro, they're already renowned for being secure and not braking/flying off their mounts. But I use a chest mount, which is basically a harness that straps round your waist and over your shoulders, and clips in in 3 different places, so the likeliness of it coming apart during an activity or ride is miniscule. It got to the point that I have now actually been able to film at Chessington without any problems (of course, I asked permission). Anyway, with your camera, I'd recommend getting something more secure then just any old strap from an old camera or games console remote. Infact, I'd actually suggest you get a GoPro chest mount, then buy a universal screw adaptor for your camera. It'll cost about £40 all together but the cameras chances of falling off are tiny, and I've found ride ops and hosts are alot less reluctant, even excited, when they see you have the right stuff. (when me and SCB went to Adventure Island, we were able to film on everything. Then on rage the hosts started getting really excited by me having my camera xd) PS if you wish to go further in filming on rides, I'd certainly recommend saving up for a gopro. The new one (the hero 4) is brilliant, it's got some of the best specs and fps on any action camera, and it is designed to survive bumps and drops without too much ware and tare.

And thus, one more joins the valhalla fan club.

It's not all club music. Must've discussed this somewhere else, but yeah, the lasers are pretty cool. They're really in time with the music, and they have so many cool effects over boxes and triangles in X, eg at one point they project a piano being played, time warps like in the Doctor Who intro sequence, and whilst I didn't see it apparently they also turn into the chessington logo. But yeah it's great at dark, and WE WERE ALLOWED RE-RIDES OK. But it's not all club music, in our circuits we got the saw themetune and the others could be found in the X playlist, so I suspect they just got a bundle of music from thorpe?

Yes. It's resurrected land, which means it is likely to sink again without a very thick, solid foundation. Merlin won't be doing that I hope (although I look at the smiler and they'd basically be doing that to the whole island)
-
Neither. Hocus pocus halls or haunting in the hollows.

Friends. Mystery of Hocus Pocus or Haunting in the Hallows?

You see, I take those things as positives...

One thing I noticed is merlin parks as a whole (it seems) do not like to give out compensation in other forms besides vouchers and fastpasses. A woman at the AP desk at Chessington was having a good old rant at the people inside about how she was feeling ripped off for spending £200 on tickets for the 3 hours they were there, and then seeing people supposedly walk in for free. She was insisting on getting her money back, but when offered fastpass or vouchers for her family she just kept on pushing, but it came to a point where the staff inside weren't actually allowed to give out any other form of compensation without bringing down managers. I guess what I'm trying to say is, whilst it really isn't an excuse, many of the workers don't seem to have the power to give out other forms of compensation. It's a mess. Whilst a small fraction of people complain, if a park is ran properly with most of it's priorities in the right order we will see less complaints... Unfortunately, because it's merlin, we see it's priorities all screwed up in situations such as these..

You honestly can't say that as paramount haven't even started bloody building yet. Please don't talk that much out of your arse. Besides BPB is unfortunate to be positioned on one of the UK's most declining sea side towns. Nothing (or little) to do with BPB's popularity, just as a whole the town will get less visitors in the coming years, which in turn means less people going to BPB. In 2000 they suffered a huge dip in popularity in the city and as such have replenished some of the facilities, but with travel becoming cheaper and easier for us to go abroad some of our sea side resorts are seeing a decline in numbers. (I know this because I just did a 2000 word essay on Blackpool's decline vs a Spanish city, and Brighton. THE MEET TO BLACKPOOL HAD AN EDUCATIONAL USE YEAH!!)

Mediafire Is very trusted ThorpeparkFreak. I use it alot for my own shared content, and so long as you ignore the pop ups its fine.

that's great.
-
Yeah looking back at it now I worded it wrong, replace 'tend to' with 'up to'
-
Something like that would be great! But Josh if you remember back to the Wardley interview, he said that rides tend to take up to 5 years to plan, design and make. This company (I believe) Weren't around in 2010/2011, or were extremely small, making them a less likely option. Of course there is always the high chance I am wrong and these ride concepts and designs will be used. I'd love to be wrong in this occasion.

I will say and keep saying about their old flyer they've been planning for however many years now, but you're right, it could be anything.

Working on a steeple chase recreation. I've actually got alot of it done including the landscaping (terrapainting), layout and supports. Still got to finish off the other ride structures and I haven't even started on the midway. Actually I lied, not alot is done. At all.

Potential bollocks..? Still? It's clearly linked to South Parks and TPR rumours, which are built up on nothing. There is a chance that they will be correct, but as much or even more so that they are wrong. *cough* the smiler washing mahcine *cough*

Really? I agree with you on that sometimes music is overlooked in parks but a lot of parks that have custom music (particularly in europe) have some of the finest soundtracks I listen to. Thorpes however are quite dull compared to the dramatic trailer music we get now from the likes of ima score and two steps, however it is still nice to have custom music in a park. Although the audio technician wants to change this, I believe he wants to change most/all sounds in the park excluding saw and swarm to pop music.
