  2. The Waltzers have also left the park and have moved to Dreamland Margate. Maybe the Edge is finally going to happen...
  3. The Evolution has indeed left the park and is off to Brazil. Pleasure Beach have announced that 'Reverse Time' will be replacing it. This is yet another SBF joining the parks line up... Don't really know what to make of it. Will be interesting to see how it works in the park.
  4. Pleasure Beach have decided to get another big wheel for this season. Although this one is different from the one they had back in 2009. Photos... (From Pleasure Beach's Facebook Page) Its due to be ready for the start of the Easter Holidays which is when they open. Will be interesting to see if they include this in the wristband price. Considering it has gone up to £21.50 Peak this year I hope so!
  5. It is unacceptable to have rides closed, when they are advertising they will all be open. Not good!
  6. From Adventure Island's Facebook page giving a peak of the new ride going where Devils Creek was:
  7. An update on whats happening at Pleasure Beach this closed season. This year the Waltzers, Sky Drop and Pirate ship are receiving both mechanical and appearance overhauls. Along with this the Fun House is getting a face lift on the outside. Lastly, the log flume is undergoing another season of major structural work. Mainly being the centre support structure. Pics below: Log Flumes structural work... (Photos from Fond Memories of Great Yarmouth 'Pleasure Beach' (And other locations!!) Facebook Page)
  8. As stated further up, Dragon Falls is opening this season
  9. On an additional note. The prices for peak time wristbands has gone up from £19.50 last season to be now at £21 for this season. The annual pass has also gone up £5 now being £80. I hope there is something in the pipeline to justify this price increase, considering the price has not gone up by this much for quite a few seasons.
  10. So Pleasure Beach have recently announced their 2016 opening hours. http://www.pleasure-beach.co.uk/uploads/DOCS/opening-dates-and-times-2016.pdf Their opening hours are fairly decent this year. The summer opening hours are fab, but its a shame that the October half term hours are not as good. I suppose they don't have the demand to stay open any later, except the night with the fireworks on the seafront. They have currently not announced any new rides, however the announcement on the website suggests more announcements are to be made in the near future. A new thrill ride would be nice... (Please bring Outrage back)
  11. Hoping to get these parks done this year: Thorpe Chessington Towers (Possibly) Paultons Pleasurewood Hills Pleasure Beach Yarmouth (Joyland if it counts as a park) Adventure Island Flamingo Land (Unlikely but will try) Heide Park
