This is excellent! I'm a huge fan of asia its one of my favourite places and their theme parks really intrest me! I wonder if that giant frisbee ride will be a proper huss or zamperla one and that buddist hell ride sounds awesome but super creepy!

its not actually a real ride it was made for a funfair simulator game but some people popped it into rct3! I am not good on what makes a ride strong but it looks like this would have to be very strong if it was real it would be a mechanical nightmare since it would be a prototype and we all know prototypes can work well (like KMG XXL and rides like that) but they can break down a lot as well so it would be all down to chance :/

good lord I saw this last night and I think it would be a nightmare. It would break down every few seconds and how the seats rise up before moving could cause metal cracking quickly!

By the looks of it Gerst gave six flags everything they needed to make the ride fully safe but six flags didnt add them on so therefore Six flags must be in the wrong surely?

although adventure island dont allow re rides they do allow you to leave your belonging in the station while you go round to queue back up again which is a nice thing!

Theres a video on youtube of a ranger ride travelling in the USA and the ride op guy does not check the safety bars at all. Not at all. So the customer has his safety bar open quite a bit and had to brace himself the whole way round and when he tried to confront the ride op the ride op just said "we only care about money" or something like that. The health and safety in the US is not as good as Europe!

try riding Time Machine at adventure island in the pouring rain!!! You cannot breathe and it hurts so much!

Not to be rude about disneyland paris but surely PortAventura is the biggest tourist destination in europe? It is not in debt and seems to be doing very well and has good visitor numbers. Saying that though everyone loves disney dont they

The staff on the day I visited were all chatty and really kind. The rage staff were so funny and they let me leave my stuff on the platform since I went on it multiple times. We had a good laugh everytime I went on it. The over the hill ride operator was scaring the riders which was funny. The guy working on archelon was chatting to me about my day and talking to me about the fact I was going to see Sam that night. The staff were super friendly. Maybe this is not always the case but on the day I visited they were lovely and that was in the rain and they were still happy and enjoyable!

After riding Over The Hill at adventure island I think a ride like that would be good for Thorpe if they are aiming for families. It's fun but no scary but can give you a scare!

Time machine is amazing but horrible! I went on it in the pouring rain and it hurt so badly! My mums cousin came with me to make sure I was ok but he couldnt go on it and I stayed on for a third time. Bad idea. I also went on over the hill which is AMAZING! The exit part is awesome and very creepy with that guy saying"come back here I'm not done with you yet!"

Little trip report from today Rage - lost count at least more than 20 times! Claw - twice Everything else at least once or twice The staff were EXCELLENT! The rage crew were so funny and awesome! All the staff were chatty and ended up knowing me by name! The rage crew were doing thumbs up to me and nodding their heads and saying "you wanted it to come true!" when I went on Rage with Sam Callahan. Adventure island is an amazing park.

Space is terrible at thorpe totally :/ maybe a new ride could go on the space they are clearing where fungle safari was. I think a starflyer would be good but it would have to be the same size as detonator or stealth but it being the same size as stealth then thats not gonna go down too well! And as for sprucing up do they ever like repaint their rides unless it needs doing? Colossus looks terrible and I know some say it might fit in well with the theme but it being that dirty is not nice! Maybe if they reintroduced the areas and repainted the rides and maybe altered the rides a bit (maybe put a tunnel with flashing lights on the inline rolls.) then they could market new features. As much as I love thorpe it needs to be spruced up. Saw's restraints have chunks taken out of them and covered in tape on the tops :/

How about thorpe do something like six flags have done in the past? A war on lines as they call it. Add a few flats, add one or two dark rides and spruce up the whole park.

Just to say why do people build roller coasters on minecraft? Cause coasters are meant to be smooth so whats the point of making them out of tiny blocks :/

I would have loved to go on Evoultion at Great Adventure. I wish Thorpe would bought it and spruced it up instead of another six flags park. Also I really miss fungle safari. Many happy memories from that ride. Also I wish drachen fire was still around. It looked immense.

Thorpe have no right to moan about energy when this ride was run on fuel. Think about how much it cost to run. Thorpe stop being cheapskates and put more trains on your coasters

Who remembers the Evoulution ride they had many many moons ago? It looked really mental since it was a massive machine and I think it was the one that used to travel in germany but could be wrong!

Has anyone ever experienced this? People always seem to judge cause I'm obsessed with rides -.- I dont see the point of it as I think its a pretty cool hobby but ya know :/!

Surely its just the external things like theming, queues, etc that are not very safe and not the rides? Cause there are so many different companies that check for ride safety and if one thing could cause an accident the ride is shut till its fixed

They now do a £15 wristband which is for all the time but they just make it either £10-£5 on selected days which is a really good step from the pier
