I was merely stating fact, making an observation, not slating the place. I am well aware of what AI is and is supposed to be, I just find the idea of it somewhat bemusing. Thanks for the condescension there too, Jamie.

Ah, AI and its confused themes. I had assumed that it would don a pirate theme as a nod to what it replaced, which they're kind of done. Yet looking from what I'm assuming are the logos for the attractions at the bottom, it seems like a bit of a jumble.

I've had a similar-ish experience which led to me quitting it altogether and I feel much better for it! Sometimes it's better to take a step back and out of things. It may not be the choice for you, but if you would like someone to speak to you can PM me whenever

^^ I do believe that study leave has begun with some 'proper' exams starting next week. I don't know for sure though, as I don't get study leave. Stealth broke down for about half an hour on Saturday, too. Odd.

I may sound like I'm just imagining it or whatnot, but I have sat in one of the seats with two belts and I felt like I had a lot more room than usual, even by the end of the ride I had a considerable amount of space. Does that sound right to those who would know this sort of thing? It may be likely that I just noticed the room I had because I told myself I was in a 'larger' seat.

Out of sheer interest, does anyone know how much would it cost to invest in a new set of trains and would any other elements of the ride need to be altered to accommodate it? I am merely curious, as perhaps if it's such a frequent issue this may have been something Thorpe considered, but scrapped due to pricing and the like? I know it's something many bang on about anyway at the very least.

Haven't a clue as to what you could possibly mean by that. Not like I fell over about 4 times in the 5 minutes I was up there or anything, nope. This will also be my anniversary meet as it were, obviously made the Chessington meet my first one as to jump on the bandwagon. I am looking forward to tomorrow though, I'll be seeing some people whom I haven't seen since this very meet last year- exciting times ahead and whatnot.

I prefer the first two original ones and I didn't mind the ones that stretchy has re-done. In all honesty though, the other 4 on the original post look really outdated. I used to aspire to be a graphic designer (lol), but alas I cannot draw on computers and the like and I know that many more members on here could do a really good job. I like the idea of it just saying 'TPM' as that's what many members refer to it to, so I suppose you could say that it seems a bit more for the members or something to that effect.

I've noted that Colossus has been sounding really rickety this season, especially on the cobra roll, it is really quite shaky as opposed to rough this year.

How?! I have a Blackberry and it doesn't even last a few hours, saying it's run out of battery when it says it's still half to three quarters of the way full in the bar. As Mark said, it's not just an issue that's unique to Apple products.

Thorpe have announced on Twitter that some of the rides have been temporarily closed due to high winds. I presume this is the big 5 coasters and the likes of Rush and Vortex?

Since my first meet last year I feel much more relaxed around everyone and I really look forward to them! Thanks to James for... Violating me and cutting my hand and KILLING my spoon in a single queue Also thanks to other James for forgetting about your spoon so the one Ryan destroyed could be replaced! Thank you to Peaj for organising it as usual and for getting me on Saw properly!

^^ I kind of established that the point of the 'smaller' plates is to stop people trying to fill them to potentially not eat them. Thus reducing wastage as people will tend to get what they'll really eat. Also, sorry Luke. It was basically Peaj's fault though.

^^ but the actual logo has that colour scheme so then it'd look a little ridiculous. With regards to the general 'will they play the advert on non-ITV channels' speculation, it was played in full on Sky Atlantic about 10 minutes ago, so it can't be much of an issue/an agreement has been made or something to that effect.
