The irony of you calling out people for pretending to know something is rather amazing...

But I bet you'll be bragging how you're 'trolling' another forum on your Youtube channel over something that is quite stupid really...

I have no problem with the force, you must just be basic.

I can see where swarm lacks in length, over the years it's open its been open it has definitely become more forceful and a solid ride for that reason, just like nemesis inferno... but everyone has opinions, just be a little more respectful. Because personally I think infusion is a pile of s*** and too rough to be enjoyable, just like most of blackpools coasters, but that's my opinion, yours is fine jordan, but don't think everyone has to be like you, because from the sounds of it I really don't envy and don't want to be like you.

ha, this post made me laugh a lot more than it should have for so many reasons.
First of all, what's wrong with being "basic"? You say it like it's a bad thing? Not everyone can go to various parks around the continent, or even the country. By all means encourage and suggest that people travel abroad and see what else is out there, but the way you are saying it, it's like you're insulting people for not travelling.
    Second of all...

Yes, you've said that your opinion has changed and that, and maybe you've ridden 10 roller coasters that are better than Swarm in the past 13 months.  But think back to when Swarm was your favourite ride and why you enjoyed it; surely you can at least appreciate the fact that other people will enjoy for those same reasons.

Swarm sits nicely at the top of my Top 10, for many reasons which I've mentioned on here in the past.  I guess that makes me "basic" (even though I've probably got a similar cred count to you, but oh well).  I guess I should "actually travel", instead of magicing myself to other theme parks.  I guess I should click my fingers, and magically get the time and money to go to the parks where all the great rides frolic freely in the wind.  Or I should go ride Shambhala, without "actually travelling".

There's certainly a lot of similarities between the two.  I definitely think that anyone who enjoys one would enjoy the other.  Whether the hatred thing is the case is something I'm not so sure on.  Baron gives a very floaty ride experience which feels completely different to Swarm, so a Swarm-hater may enjoy Baron for that great floatyness.

    Anyway, back to B&Ms.  I've ridden 7:

    1)  Nemesis Inferno
    2)  Nemesis
    3)  Air
    4)  Oblivion
    5)  The Swarm
    6)  Black Mamba
    7)  Baron 1898

I'd put them in the order of how much I liked them, but since I'm basic, I don't think it's necessary.

Be patient, most people on park won't be updating 24/7. You'll probably hear about it more tonight/tomorrow morning.

Well there was quite a few of us gathered on the bridge during the choosing ceremony on Saturday. Maybe it's more a case of stopping any potential abuse actors may get from passers by?

I went yesterday, I did all the mazes for the first time and considering what I'm like (a total wuss who is terrified of clowns and all things jumpy) I was really... Underwhelmed?
One of the biggest let downs for me was honestly cabin. The actor in the first room was stopping us from going through a certain door which apparently led to the forest area and when we found the control room the actor in there broke character and told us it was off limits? I then walked through the rest of the maze confused more than anything, there weren't many actors at all in there and I felt really disappointed more than anything, given the hype I'd heard.
The big top was decent, I was very much freaked out when I ended up at the back and someone stroked my back, and being cornered by a clown and approached by baby was also quite creepy!
Saw again I hadn't much of an idea as to what was actually going on, it was either so dark I couldn't see, or the strobes simply confused me completely. As this was my first maze I was doc using more on staying calm and avoiding the attention of the actors though!
My bloody valentine was one of the ones I was most worried for, being claustrophobic, but it just felt like a walk through some dimly lit, tight corridors. I didn't draw much attention to myself like most of the mazes as I really didn't want it but I just generally didn't feel much of an atmosphere? I also felt like I was walking through IAC at one point.
Blair Witch was probably the 'best' in terms of being creeped out/scared by the actors who would just stare at you and start to follow you. At one point I was completely left alone as the person I was walking with was kept back and I was really quite terrified! Shame about the bright construction/floodlights kind of making it too bright halfway through though, and the shed it a slight anti-climax in all honesty.
I was genuinely surprised that I got through all the mazes unscathed, and I'm not sure what that really says about the mazes, as I really wasn't particularly scared for the entirety of a maze. Given that I was absolutely terrified by Haunting in the Hollows last year I'm not too sure what to make of it! I'm not sure if the order had something to do with it but our first maze was at about 7 so it's not as though the actors wouldn't have 'warmed up' however they were very good nonetheless, I just didn't understand a lot of it all and I don't think it's because I haven't seen the films.
With regards to queues, they were quite ridiculous. I feel as though we wouldn't have got all the mazes done if we didn't have director's cut but it really did seem as though fastrack was oversold. I'd never seen it so bad with my own eyes before and I was surprised how busy it was on its first 'proper' day.

Its a crap excuse anyway, they save very little money operationally by running one train rather then two. Engineers are still there, a train still has to go up the lift hill the same amount of times whether there's a 5 minute queue or a 45 minute queue. The only difference is how much they are willing to force to people to wait for the rides.

The entire point of booking is to help control numbers though, is it not? Considering all that I saw and heard regarding the numbers at Fright Nights last year, I think that having to book in advance isn't an entirely stupid idea. I agree that having a deposit of sorts would be a good idea, but some people could just see £10 and get annoyed, rather than be under the mindset of 'oh, it's only a pound'

I don't understand why you'd gladly part with '£200+' plus if you have so many issues with the service you are provided, I wouldn't want to spend £20 on something that made me as unhappy as Thorpe seems to make you at times, let alone £200. Then again this is something that's always brought up so I don't think it's really worth going there!

The site states it's unavailable, the park are not at all obliged to give any sort of details as to why an attraction isn't available as far as I'm aware.

Step 1:  Post an old rumour for last year, add "I had this idea myself" to it to make it sounds like an original idea for the future.
Step 2:  Post a contradictory rumour for last year, which is utter rubbish.
    Step 3:  ???
    Step 4:  Profit.
