  1. @ThemeParkLover If you are interested in speculation and theories (which, judging by this topic, you are) then 'the one after WC16' topic has lots of good theories and plenty of speculation for you to read!
  2. No, sorry I don't. Though I bet someone on this forum will have the maps from the past 2 years.

(I shall now revive his topic whilst talking to myself.) Madrid Furious Baco or Marmite?
  4. Hi @Zach Just wondering whether you are going to create a crowd calendar page for Chessington? Thanks.
  5. I'm sorry I didn't take in any information from that video as Joe Rohde's left earlobe completely distracted me. Anyway, I'm a big GOTG fan, however I feel like you could make such a good GOTG dark ride from scratch that this overlay just won't do the film (or the original ride) justice.

I thought you didn't like Star Wars? (Honestly not sarcastic at all)
  7. Needs to use a full stop.
  8. I believe so. It also seems like quite a long time too, because when I go to Thorpe I usually go with non AP holders, meaning I have to wait for them after entering the park. Being me, I time the wait. The shortest was 4 minutes and the longest was 16.
  9. The quality of the parks recent investments looks absolutely phenomenal - as does this ride, which I think will give the park a much wider range of coasters and a lineup that no longer seems incomplete.
  10. Whoop woo! I'm a youtuber!
  11. Has a cool name. ( @ChessingtonSam I'm a youtuber?)
  12. Confuses me with their name change.
  13. Isn't Derren Brown.
  14. I think there's a big difference between a family attraction and a kid attraction. This to me looks like a kid attraction - in that I can't see adults riding it without kids. The best attractions are the ones for everybody. These are what I consider family attractions. Examples are log flumes, river rapids and lots of family oreintated dark rides. ANYONE can enjoy these attractions. I'd ride them, as would adults and kids alike. Anyway, here's my point. Attractions such as this, which are just aimed at kids won't give the Towers a vast attendance boost. Use them as fillers if you may but I do feel like the problem with a lot of British theme parks is the lack of investments for everybody.

"The incident comes a few weeks after three children were injured after the Tsunami ride crashed to the ground at M&D's amusement park on Sunday afternoon." I'd hardly call a ride stopping on its lift hill an 'incident'. Will the press ever learn? Well, at least they said hat Colossus has 10 inversions as opposed to 10 loops.
  16. I agree with Matt here, if AT get a highly themed next generation flume - like Valhalla - then it's a dark ride. But it just happens to be a dark ride using a water based transit system. Bubbleworks is a dark ride which uses a water based transit system. Therefore it's both a dark ride and a water ride. I see no reason why a flume couldn't be the same.
  17. But doesn't an indoor flume count as a dark ride? Candidates for removal: Nemesis Sub-terra Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Hex Sonic Spinball Duel?
  18. The park will probably be busier this weekend due to the opening of DBGT. But just keep calm and I'm sure you'll get in everything. 2 days should be plenty of time even with the probable increase in attendance.
  19. I think if Thorpe did get a woodie it would probably be an RMC. I just think the 'gimmick' of RMC would do well at Thorpe's location. I'm pretty sure most teens* at the park would rather go on a ride with inversions and a potential launch than a classic woodie. *I really mean the type of teenager you find at Thorpe Park. You know what word I'm referring to...
  20. I always play this fun game in Nemesis Inferno's queue line called 'no more...'. But this game is really hard to explain and it always seems to involve Monty Don's dog, Nigel. So, I won't suggest that one!
  21. 5/10 As is Saw.
  22. CharlieN replied to Aarron P's topic in UK Attractions
Oh, I heard that due to them not selling in the Asian market (which is one of the largest upcoming markets) they were not receiving a sufficient profit and were therefore stopping producing coasters and just doing steelworks.
  23. The original design for the woodie that was supposed to go in Saw's location looked fab. Ahhh, what could have been. (I'm not a big fan of Gerstleaur's)
  24. All it needs is a repaint and the trains of Altair CCW 0204 or whatever the numbers are! But I think floorless could be an option, couldn't it?
