It's a marvelous feat of engineering and design. I'm not sure why everyone was hyped thinking the ride was going to be the best thing ever. The hype should have been justfor the fact this legend has finally made it to the UK. And that it's silky smooth, travels Europe, operates better than anything we have in this country and is 30 odd years old. It's crazy!

The ride is just fun. Good speed throughout with some flicky twists and turns. Didn't have any issues with the restraints either.

Really dislike how nowadays everything has to be a "it's in" or "it's not in my top 10." Stop trying to compare every ride to everything and just sit back and enjoy. It's so much more fun!

    Not sure how unpopular some of my opinions are, but;

    1) The Swarm is a waste of space.

    2) I really enjoy Rita.

    3) I liked Blue Tornado (SLC).

    4) I like rougher coasters, ones that are too smooth feel kind of boring... (Headbanging can sometimes be a bit too horrible, though!)

    5) I still really like Chessington even though it is crap these days (maybe I just really like the nostalgic aspects?!)

    6) Colossus is one of my favourite rides.

    7) I LOVE Slammer!

    8) I liked and miss Submission.

    9) I liked and miss Ripsaw.

    10) I've never had a Krabby Patty.

Is it possible Thorpe could add a drain to each boat? Currently I'm surprised Merlin don't market it as the worlds first swimming pool to travel down a water slide.

Kas Narañja is the best! But I've only ever seen it in Ibiza and Spain, so I have to go for Tango/Fanta here!

Tango Orange obviously being the best  Then the Cherry one is a close second.

...we don't talk about the Apple one...

I think the park needs the fabled Top Spin that Thorpe have been getting for about 10 years now

Yeah I assumed for £2000 that I'd be able to run the game but unfortunately it's just not been released for Mac. Not sure how much development it would take them to make it available on a different operating system, I'd hope that by the time it comes in 4-6 weeks there might be some more news on it!

Honestly one of the best coasters I've been on, amazing to think it's a travelling one! Worth every single one for your nine hundred pennies. Definitely going to try and ride again before they close for the season.

Two tips, pay contactless, it's the same price, jumps a bit of the queue and saves you queuing for tokens. Also when you're in the queue line keep left and go right down to the end for front row!

To be fair, it does feel a little bit unsafe right at the end of the pier! Those tight corners are no laughing matter! haha.

I think if it were Wilde Maus XXL at the end of the pier, I'd actually have a legitimate heart attack... I couldn't even handle it on land at Winter Wonderland last year!

Moral of the story: Wild Mouse coasters are a dangerous game.

Queuing an hour for Storm Surge and getting into a boat that's not filled with water is worth cracking out the Prosecco for IMO...

But in all seriousness, the indoor drop in Saw is a fantastic moment that is let down by the rest of the painful experience.

I went to Gardaland earlier this year - I actually really enjoyed Blue Tornado! Admittedly I did feel a bit sick after coming off the ride, but it was really fast and felt quite unpredictable! It was my first SLC, though, so maybe I enjoyed it because it was new to me - who knows!

I visited at the beginning of May, and the Kung Fu Panda land didn't look like it had even started construction! So yeah, it must have been a bit rushed!

Oblivion: The Black Hole was excellent; Raptor I don't really remember because my and my friend were laughing the whole way round about something else xD

    Sequoia Adventure... .

Highlight of the day was I Corsari (I think that's how it was spelt) - It's hidden round the back of the pirate ship, you go inside the ship and it's basically an underground dark ride. IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE MOST RANDOM, INCOHERENT, INCONSISTENT, MUSICALLY ANTI-CLIMATIC IN THE CLIMATIC SCENES (YET MUSICALLY CLIMATIC IN THE ANTI-CLIMATIC SCENES), AWESOME RIDE EVER - I CORSARI IS THE ONE! I couldn't stop laughing when we exited the pirate-themed ride, walked through the pirate-themed gift shop, turned the corner and was greeted by -SPOILER ALERT- a completely white hallway with a single escalator taking you up to the surface. No pirates. No theming AT ALL. Just an escalator. Maybe it's just my sense of humour, maybe it was just the "what the hell was that about?" as we got out of the boat, but whatever it was, it was too perfect. xD

Also, that horrendous Magic Tree thing made me feel sick. It was like a drunk Hex... *shivers*

Basically, Gardaland is a BRILLIANT day out (totally worth the hour and a half trip from Venice), I think I could of happily spent a second day in the park and am planning to go there next summer (hopefully) with my girlfriend - DEFINITELY GO IF YOU GET THE CHANCE!

I honestly thought it was going to cost about £12 to go on it... £9 means I can go on it twice... xD
