  1. Dan you spelt Halloween wrong in the title.. bad.
  2. Yes but Dragon Falls has a better name.
  3. Oblivion = UK!SheiKra approx 1000 miles away. I doubt the UK guests give a damn if there's a longer version in Orlando. They enjoy Oblivion for what it is.
  4. Never gonna happen. It is a 10 year old ride after-all.
  5. As long as you know that Marc is very pally with the Thorpe Park engineers.. we're more likely to believe him then you with your "secret" contacts.
  6. Count me out guys, tbh I can think of better things to do then sticking to the Merlin attractions and Nandos.

No.. it just basically stopped at a very awkward angle. I have the video of it somewhere..
  8. The only issue with keeping Chessington open for two extra hours is that a lot of the time the majority of guests leave the park between 5 and 7. I worked many days over Halloween and every day (with the exception of a 14,000 day) we were running most rides empty. It's not really worth the extra two hours if only a handful of people are going to use it. Young children get tired and there isn't really enough at Chessie to satisfy the older people.Vampire at 10 would be the same as Vampire at 7 and 8.
  9. Another fun fact:- Colossus has winter and summer wheels.OH MY GOD
  10. It is.. I passed my test to operate it. Goodbye car stacking heaven, hello GET THOSE CARS OUT OR ELSE
  11. I didn't know the Detonator three click challenge was illegal Hmm.. To be honest the seatbelts would do very little. Some B&M's for instance such as Dragon Khan don't have them. They seem to be a peace of mind measure more then a "it will save your life" measure. That being said there's no reason you would undo the seatbelt anyway.
  12. I should have rephrased what I said to be honest. Rita and Air are the only closed rides that matter. Not many people like Submission and Enterprises are very common.
  13. LETS GO SEE A PLAY! You guys are way to Merlin orientated
  14. What are we doing.. then I'll let you know.
  15. Yes well.. it could be like that all season and I wouldn't notice.
  16. Corkscrew's being taken down this week so I think its just a case of it not being a priority. It was also closed at this years Hullabaloo.
  17. Alton towers have announced (via brochure) what rides will be available at Half term Hullabaloo * Oblivion * Hex * Doodle Doo Derby * Tractors * River Bank Eye Spy * Berry Bish Bash * Dung Heap * Singing Barn * Squirrel Nutty Ride * Spinball Whizzer * Runaway Mine Train * Duel * Blade * NemesisOnly Air and Rita missing really. Not a bad selection
  18. To be honest I'm really confused by this. Either Theme Park bloke is accusing the operators or incompetence or.. well I have no idea. So in conclusion, to stop this circle which doesn't make sense can we have no more posts on this. Thanks
  19. His point is that they should have let the train go all the way round instead of E-stopping it on the lift hill.
  20. Congratulations, you have just failed your ride test. Do not pass go, do not collect 200 pounds. If there is any risk at all, even slightly remote, you e-stop it. If someone had been seriously injured or even worse killed on Colossus the park would take the buck for the incident but it would be ultimately the operators fault. An E-stop is far safer then letting the train complete its journey regardless of how much time it takes to evacuate the train.
  21. Nah, they don't make their own rides anymore. Unless the self proclaimed worst ride ever Pepsi Max was manufactured by Blackpool locals...
  22. Why is it Europa Park can build a whole road in about two weeks and yet the people doing the roadworks near my house have taken over 3 months and still aren't finished
  23. Manta Up-date*sighs*. Looks so good
  24. People definitely need lessons in how to use the rolling eye smiley properly..
