  1. I'm with Coaster Jamie here. It would be better if they had a minimum close of 5 and extend when necessary but advertising a 7pm close and closing 2 hours early is really not the way to do it.
  2. Is that like where people leave their rubbish on tables and say 'well it's their job to clean up after me' as if thats an excuse to be an unreasonable, ignorant idiot.
  3. Water pressure problem at Chessington today so park expects late opening around 11am although waiting for further updates from Thames Water. People are angry. They show a lot of understanding when something is out of a companies control.
  4. I've been stock piling my 50p's for 30th March 2019.
  5. You have no idea how much I love this.
  6. Trip booked just because its the year of the dive machine and I'd like to rediscover Helix.
  7. School groups there during School week? Thats crazy AF!
  8. I thought we knew this months ago..
  9. I mean, they can budget for maintenance and a Dungeons attraction.
  10. I mean, I wouldn’t be at PortAventura so I still think I’m really winning.
  11. Thats the gamble you take and it gives me no greater satisfaction when someone buys it only for the park to be really quiet and they've thrown their money away.
  12. My best advice is to pay the £20 and fly to Phantasialand because Thorpe is just toast at this point. ?
  13. The guests keep going so I mean, until people wake up and stop visiting, they'll continue with this behaviour.

    IT'S GOING TO QATAR!
  15. Thing is, if this is what the Thorpe target audience like then who are we to say it's a trashy move. Thorpe isn't a traditional theme park anymore, things like Walking Dead, I'm a Celeb and Love Island fit in perfectly there.
  16. I'd level all that stuff at Thorpe more then Alton right now. Altons problem is the short opening hours with the later ride opening times. At the moment there isn't enough time to get everything done. There's enough to do for those interested (Gardens, Sea Life Centre, Rapids, Duel, Hex, walk around the Towers if they are open) but the short hours do not help.
  17. Guests are amazingly inept at counting in theme parks.
  18. Toy Story Land opened today and Slinky Dog posted a wait time of 300 minutes. That's a whole day at Thorpe Park.
  19. Not my thing but could work. The Sea-Life centres were good additions to their respective parks.
  20. Has Thorpe always been as bad as this season or was I just clouded by inexperience or naivety. Alton gets the slagging off for early closures and closed rides but Thorpe is just as guilty, if not more so because in-between the closed rides and breakdowns there is nothing to do. 30 degrees heat, Tidal Wave closed till 12pm. New attraction with a relaunch last year, closed till 12pm. Vortex and Samurai closed completely. The park closed at 4pm but we were long gone by 2pm as being in the place is actually pretty painful. Whats happened to the operations? Saw and Stealth run okay but watching them run Swarm, Inferno and Colossus makes me wonder what they're thinking at Thorpe these days. Quantum is awesome though. All bow to the Fabbri masterpiece.
  21. When you say things get boring now is that because you've done it a few times and you are used to it or because you expect them to be updating the attraction every few days.
  22. Can I get a fact check on that please, all the Arrow suspended have giant support systems whereas all the Maurer spinners have thin bendy supports. Thats surely just a manufacturer 'thing' and nothing to do with a countries particular demands or safety regimes.
