June 20, 200817 yr comment_28806 Shame it was all set-up and fake really.. otherwise it would have been a little funny. Kind of ruined the whole programme when I found out it's all fixed
October 4, 200816 yr comment_34683 We have just added 4 POV videos to our site and youtube.Stealth, Colossus, Tidal Wave and Inferno. All are from Thorpe Park themselves.http://forum.ride-guide.co.uk/viewtopic.ph...;p=12197#p12193

October 4, 200816 yr comment_34710 I just found this video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuZMX56Eps0its from the tv programme balls of steel and features the annoying devil at thorpe park!found it quite funny actually....It just looks like one huge publicity stunt.
October 5, 200816 yr comment_34777 I havnt got a video yet, but how strict are they on us taking on-ride videos?
October 5, 200816 yr comment_34779 It's simply not allowed. It is too dangerous for members of the public to take videos. The ones I posted above were taken by a professional company, hired by Thorpe.Off ride videos are fine. If you want to use a Tripod, ask at Guest Services before you start and you should be fine.
October 5, 200816 yr comment_34785 I havnt got a video yet, but how strict are they on us taking on-ride videos?well last time I went they E Stopped Nemesis inferno for about 20 minutes because someone had pulled out a camera/phone on the ride. So yes they are very strict about it now.
October 5, 200816 yr comment_34789 Well in Colossus station once behind the gates I was putting my camera in my bag to not take on and the platformer said "put that away". So what the hell really.
October 5, 200816 yr comment_34813 I just found this video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuZMX56Eps0its from the tv programme balls of steel and features the annoying devil at thorpe park!found it quite funny actually....I saw this on Balls Of Steel when the episode was first broadcast on Channel 4. It was shortly after I had started going to Thorpe Park regularly. Hilarious - everything he does is funny. Second to him, Neg's Urban Sports is funny. It does get a tad anoying A tad? Hmm, I'd say more than that.
October 5, 200816 yr comment_34874 I emailed thorpe park to see or find out how to get permission to take a POV and this was their reply..."Please be aware that at both THORPE PARK and Chessington & Zoo, we do not allow guests to take items onto the rides as it is a considerable health and safety risk to those involved, our staff, other guests on the ride and also on the ground. Your request is not something that we would consider as in order to undertake on-board filming we have to use a professional camera mount that has been approved by our external Health & Safety governing body. This is a lengthy process, that requires a number of resources from the Park internally and externally, that we will only undertake for professional production companies who have liability cover that insures them for a minimum £10 million. Footage that you see people have taken from on-board any of the rides at either Park (excluding those on the official Park pages) has been done so without our knowledge or permission. Anyone who is seen to take a camera, mobile phone, etc onto any of our rides will be escorted off Park for risking the health and safety of our guests and staff, and further action possible dependent on the severity of the offence. Kind regards, GARETH ARCULUS"Id just like to point out the "production companies who have liability cover that insures them for a minimum £10 million." part of that.
October 5, 200816 yr comment_34884 Thorpe go effing mental about it due to previous incidents. Chessington quite frankly doesn't care much as long as its secure, I've seen many a person even been given their camera on the rides if they went to put it on the side
October 6, 200816 yr comment_34914 Thorpe have released a little video in preparation to fright nights - their version of Thriller. Here =] Edit: Also just realised trailers for the individual fright nights attractions, its proably just easier to link to their channel. Here
