Posted August 2, 200718 yr comment_12905 Weee!! ;)We all love Dragons Fury!! (and if you don't, then I have a very large box with your name on it, and a 6 ft hole waiting for you )Discuss your adventures with this firey dragon, that's if it hasn't set you alight
August 3, 200718 yr comment_12918 I think; theres not enough legroom. being tall & everything, its more hard work then enjoyment ):
August 3, 200718 yr comment_12919 Yesterday during a block shutdown the "ahhh you survived" played over and over again and I was in hysterics... Anyway I love Fury and believe it to be the UK's second best steel rollercoaster. It has a few drawbacks such as the small size of the car meaning slightly poor legroom but I think the ride experience more then makes up for it. Very good ride in the face of simple layouts such as Stealth, Colossus, Rita and Air.
August 5, 200718 yr comment_12965 I do like fury but I think its very over hyped and majorly depends on the weight of your car as to if you get a good or crap ride, that and I cant think of a trip to chessington where I havent seen it break down atleast once! Personally would much rather a ride on rattlesnake!
August 5, 200718 yr comment_12966 I think it's a really god coaster, and the spinning just adds to it. And the second lift hill.. <3

The foolproof way of getting a good start is to put all the weight on the back then lean to the right. It doesn't necessarily mean the parts after Lift 2 will be spinny but you have a better chance.

August 6, 200718 yr comment_13043 Fury is the best ride in the park IMO. The Spinniness is just fantastic. Ohhh yeah and its blooody intense on your first ride!
August 16, 200718 yr comment_13301 Gorgeous :PFury is just so photogenic *is in love with a rollercoaster* :|
August 29, 200718 yr comment_13680 took my first ride on fury not too long ago. I acctually really enjoyed it. Don't think it beats vampire though in cwoa. Still great ride.
August 29, 200718 yr comment_13694 I think dragons fury at chessington is a great coaster because sometimes you get great spins and I agree about the leg room there isnt mush in the cars but still a great ride.
August 29, 200718 yr comment_13703 Its a spinning wild mouse not a sofa. The cars are small because of the track gauge.. any bigger and there would be to much stress of the track.
October 15, 200717 yr comment_15749 Gorgeous :(Fury is just so photogenic *is in love with a rollercoaster* :| <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How I love Car No. 9!I think itl be good comparing this to Winjas
January 31, 200817 yr comment_20680 TP Dan. I have ridden Winjas, both Force and Fear and they are a lot better than Dragon's Fury. But the Chessie version is better than Spinball and Whirlwind at Camelot.Ahhh you survived, pleeease, exit to the left
September 14, 200816 yr comment_32688 When does the Skips sponsorhip end on Dragon's Fury? It's in its 5th year now.
September 14, 200816 yr comment_32754 It has kind of ended. The logos on the cars were removed about a season ago, although I can't remember if there are still logos on the entrance sign.
September 14, 200816 yr comment_32769 Skips ended in 06 during the moohajor downtime. Or was that last year? Bugger knows. Some skips signs are still there, like on entrance. Thats it
September 15, 200816 yr comment_32852 Thank god! I was getting tired of sir toungealot. Or whoever he is...
September 15, 200816 yr comment_32898 Eh? Skip the tongue? Tired of seeing him or hearing him.. because the announcements are very much still there.

I'm sure the logo at the entrance has gone. And I'm sure it's still on the stone dragon in the queue (well that would be hard to rub that off the dragon).Skips ended in 06 during the moohajor downtime. Or was that last year? Bugger knows. Some skips signs are still there, like on entrance. Thats it Well that's in breach of contract then!
September 16, 200816 yr comment_33018 Theme Park Bloke who cares...! If Chessington can't be bothered or can't remove some of the Skips logos for any reason then I don't think Skips will give a toss, Skips are technically getting FREE advertisements!
September 20, 200816 yr comment_33332 Who cares? Well I don't, but Skips might. They might not want their logos on there anymore. What's to say Skips and Tussauds might have fallen out since 2004? We don't know.
September 20, 200816 yr comment_33349 I'm not too sure any company would mind getting free advertisement though, even if they did fall out. And it was 2006 they got removed, not 2004.
