June 15, 201114 yr comment_117940 Awwwh. NEXT TIME. LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES.Learning to drive is frustrating, I know exactly what I have to do, but when I'm on the road I just don't do it.99% of the time, it's not you, it's the other pillocks around you...So many people cannot drive... FACT...
June 15, 201114 yr comment_117942 Like!I slowed to let a car pass beside me because the gap was too small for both of us, and the car behind thought they would be clever and overtake me, leading to a 'oh cottage cheese tastes very nice what now' moment for both the other cars. People have no patience with learners, it's like the totally forget they ever had a first lesson.
June 15, 201114 yr comment_117943 Yep, so many times when they drive right up your arse when you're a learner... It's so much rage-filling...However, so gratifying when you over-take someone on a dual carriageway
June 15, 201114 yr comment_117944 It's rage filling but just wait until they plough into you because they are so close. Happened to my friend at traffic lights
June 15, 201114 yr comment_117945 Agreed. I had gone around a parked car just after a bollard in a very quiet, 25mph road. Some tosser drives past while approaching another bollard and manages to swerve back in just in time. I was doing no harm to anyone. Ergh some people!
June 16, 201114 yr comment_117951 I had none of these problems... maybe I was just a decent learner driver? either that, or the roads were always dead or too busy for stupid people to do things listed above.
June 16, 201114 yr comment_117957 I had none of these problems... maybe I was just a decent learner driver? either that, or the roads were always dead or too busy for stupid people to do things listed above. If you were a decent learner driver, maybe you'd have done as much as me in my first lesson
June 16, 201114 yr comment_117972 LOL @ my Dad not putting the handbrake on and it rolling into neighbour's carMy Mum is screaming at him because he did not put the handbrake on. He says he did but he always forgets and I'm having a huge laugh with my mate at how stupid he is. The back of the car is cracked and scratched hugely and the car rolled into the front of our neighbour's car, whose right, side-light is not working. I can't @ being able to use this as a future joke:Q: What doesn't have to be drunk, to crash their car?A: My Dad
June 16, 201114 yr comment_117974 Invigilators with squeaky shoes, do they wear them to be deliberately annoying?
June 16, 201114 yr comment_117977 Yes, yes they do. Invigilators are hired on the one main requirement that they are annoying. In my college we have an obese woman who can't walk very fast so wastes your time getting paper and she pants while walking up and down the aisles when just checking. Another woman wears flip flops and because of how she walks trying to keep them on, they flip up and then she stomps down. I've told invigilators to take their shoes off before, it isn't fair! I get extra time due to problems associated with easily losing focus.
June 16, 201114 yr comment_117989 Same! And people who have a cold and keep sniffing or ding that thing where they snort it into their throat. Or people who have a bad cough, especially those loud sealion coughs! Grr indeed!I never got extra time and either never finished the exam (especially maths) or just about finished on time Can't help but wonder what if people had known about my ADHD which was causing me to lose focus easily etc, what if I'd got extra time? Would I have got the A in science I should've got? This is why we need time travel Although if Back To The Future is anything to go by, it can have serious consequences!
June 16, 201114 yr comment_117994 Apparently being diagnosed with clinical depression can get you extra time, but I didn't really bother with it, as I generally get on with exams fine, its usually more the revision that I find hard.
June 17, 201114 yr comment_118047 I hate when you arrange to go somewhere on an inset day and someone drops out because they want to spend the day revising. Seriously? I think I'd rather go to Thorpe, than stay at home with a textbook.

June 17, 201114 yr comment_118052 Textbooks > Thorpe ParkPaha! Seriously though, it's irritating. I'll probably have to go with my family now. Jesus christ
June 17, 201114 yr comment_118054 Paha! Seriously though, it's irritating. I'll probably have to go with my family now. Jesus christ Nothing wrong with spending a nice day out with the family, enjoy them whilst they last
June 17, 201114 yr comment_118055 Nothing wrong with spending a nice day out with the family, enjoy them whilst they last Yeah, that's true. But my Dad, at a theme park, is just a recipe for disaster. He's on about going tomorrow instead. To be honest, I can't think of anything worse
June 17, 201114 yr comment_118058 I wish he wouldn't though, because he hates theme parks,as he refuses to queue for longer than 10 minutes, and then walks around with a face like a slapped arse because he gets bored
June 17, 201114 yr comment_118059 Haha! I have a friend like that. Remind him why he's really there (ie- spending time with you) and that should guilt-trip into just getting on with queueing... and you know, you might have to..... TALK to each other!

Remind him why he's really there (ie- spending time with you) and that should guilt-trip into just getting on with queueing... and you know, you might have to..... TALK to each other! Paha! That will just make him even more of an arse. He'll probably end up going for a pint or something. My mum won't go on rides, so it'll just be me walking round like a loner . Not a good loook!
June 17, 201114 yr comment_118066 It's nice to see your dad making the effort! :lol:Eh Daniel9? I wish I bought the Bizarro ORP of him
June 17, 201114 yr comment_118068 My dad is the only one who does theme parks abroad bar disney and universal. His reaction to rides annoys me. An annoying comment like 'well it was fast'. Ergh.
June 17, 201114 yr comment_118069 I think I'd rather go to Thorpe, than stay at home with a textbook. You could just... not go Honestly, not going to Thorpe Park is not the worst that could happen
