Phantasialand

Recommended Posts

Indeed. And as for the disgusting TotNH building, apparently that's also the entrance to Fantissima, which means until an alternative can be found for that, TotNH isn't going anywhere :(

Can't imagine it's impossible to find another venue for a dinner show though, surely?

They started weeks ago :P Looks fabulous though as always. Hopefully they'll announce an opening date soon so I can book flights/hotel etc for a few weeks afterwards.

Also I was browsing phantafriends.de earlier and it's pretty much confirmed that there's a Vekoma coaster of some kind coming to Phantasialand too!

They're relating their newer rides to the random dragon characters they have about the park, there's a statue of one in Chiapas' backwards disco room for example...

Which part are you confused by?

Edit- Ok for those who can't quite make sense of the layout (to be fair it's quite busy) I've just drawn over the photo for you! The yellow is the first part of the layout, and red is the second half.

Apparently there's some footers in the RQ pool, but I dunno if they might be leftovers from the old Monorail the park used to have...

Things aren't clear, but they're still exciting...

Different types of footers continue to be placed around RQ and Taron.  a couple around the site that could be for the other coaster?

The Admin posting on that site suggested a tunnel for the queueline for Taron, but also, here's a nifty fact; the reason for all the tall rocks is to block out a lot of the noise for the neighbouring village.

^ Yeah the noise complaints towards Phantasialand are almost as bad as Alton's! This is why Talocan is half in a building, and Taron has the big metal wall (as well as the rock wall). Between RQ and Taron there should also be buildings/more rocks to block out the sound, and also because the park don't own all the land there so that have to section it off!

The whole noise thing is quite annoying. The park have purchased and subsequently knocked down a couple of houses in the area however there are still a few houses almost on the park's property! This is the reason the expansion plans got denied :(
