Paul
Does anyone have information as to why Detonator's down at the moment? I can't remember seeing Detonator having a period of downtime for longer than a day before, and this time it's been down since Monday. Jezzerz
Went on Detenator for the first time in 3years on the 18th october and loved it such a great ride!
Garry Williams
I love Detty. It was my first tower ride (other than TOT in Orlando). It's the only ride that no matter how many times I ride it, I still have butterflys in my stomach. Really amazing ride.
Stokesyboy
Does anyone else get a weird feeling in their feet when they jump off it too fast? I always seem to get a rush of blood to the feet and jump off too soon and end up having really painful feet for the next 5 minutes
Marc
I get that too if I get out to quickly, just dont rush getting out!!
Stokesyboy
Yeah each time I go on it now I take longer to get off because its so painful when it happens ! Not good
Mattgwise
I'm glad someone mentioned the pain in the feet because I often get it if I get up too quickly and none of my friends understand what I am going on about!
TPMSam
I always sit on it for 5 extra seconds so my feet don't hurt!!!
themeparkmad
My feet have always been fine and I am always one of the first off of the ride usually!

Stokesyboy
The problem what I get is that I wanna get off it as quick as possible and get to another ride otherwise people usually just push u out of the way and run forward to rejoin the queue so I try to avoid that but I seem to jump off and when I land I get these horrible feeling in my feet and its just painful to walk. Any ideas as to what it is? I spose it could be the rush of blood from being at high altitude to low altitude in a matter of seconds and the feet arent used to it quickly? Glad I'm not the only one who gets this pain!!!

MikeyT
Basically it's the rush of blood to your feet after the high amount of G Force experienced on the ride. It will take a few seconds for the blood to get circulating properly again.I always just wiggle my feet and toes before I get off and it usually sorts things out for me. Don't get off too energetically
Garry Williams
After riding Detty three times yesterday, is it just me or is it not as forceful as it used to be? Maybe I'm just used to it.

Maybe I'm just used to it.My guess is it's a mix of the 2. The release mechanism has probably worn out a bit over the years and you have got used to the force. Stick your legs and arms out if you want a more forceful ride.
