Benin
Yeah, thats true. My main question is there any room for rides, I don't know this area of Chessington very well? There is room... But I highly doubt any rides will be put into that area...Unless they have a Rhino Rally-esque ride planned...

themeparkmad
Chessington Resort? It still says on the LED boards in the park - Chessington World of Adventure's so I am sticking with that ;)edit- added comma so it would stay what I wanted. Hate you Marc for that.... Edited June 3, 2010 by themeparkmad
JBdaWonderLlama
Just checked the Chessington WOA site and it still says "Welcome to Chessington World of Adventure's" so I'm sticking with that ;)I've put an apostrophe in to it doesn't shorten it to just Chessington :\
Fred
I wanna see this. I've read "Chessington Resort" written a few times now, however the tellies have always only shown the new chessie logo?
JoshC.
Hmm. All the advertising does show the new Chessie logo as Peter says, so maybe it's being lowly introduced for next season (or the season after). After all, the 'new' logo is just a bit bolder than the old one (and has the '& Zoo' bit gone as well?) so it won't be too much of a hassle really. As for the name, I prefer WoA. Sounds so much better and interesting, and 'Adventures' follows the small rebrand (such as Adventurers' Service, etc.).
themeparkmad
My mum got the Friday Ad and it was advertising the park and I purposely looked and it says..."Win 3 family tickets to Chessington World of Adventure's".That is a new ad and it has nothing to do with 'Chessington Resort' in any small print, information etc...Josh - Yeah Chessington World of Adventure's & Zoo is now Chessington World of Adventure's
Fred
Stop putting stupid apostrophies in Chessington, it doesn't have one and doesn't need one unless you're a grammatical boob.Maybe its stuff like "no smoking in the Chessington Resort" or something like that. Fred
Ahh right, well I'd still have to blame you as that word filter probably wouldn't exist otherwise
themeparkmad
For some reason - The more it pissed people off - The more satisfaction I got from it
Benin
because I am a ****<3Who types Chessington anyways? It's all about the 'Chessie'...As for it being a resort... Please no... That's so bland compared to the current name... Which although a mouthful, conjures up a lot more to the mind...
Kevin
The park now has an even more updated logo which is the new 2010 in brand logo, with 'Resort' simply placed in the sun underneath the letters in the logo.So yes, it is Chessington Resort. James6
Be aware anyone visiting soon that none of the queue boards for rides are working, staff are friendly as always though and you can just ask them, which is to be honest, more accurate anyway. Benin
Apparently, they are being fixed Tuesday Is that a Tuesday in the normal sense or the Chessie engineering sense? Note - I have nothing against the engineering team at Chessie, I just wanted to use that joke...
James6
For those who wanted to see the logo with added "resort" As you can see it's only something little and only used on media related to the hotel or showing off the facilities available as a whole
