February 21, 201015 yr comment_83622 Was digging around in my photo archives and found this that I quite like. Took it on the CCR.Any news on removing that jolt yet? (Apologies in advance if it's been posted somewhere else).

(Apologies in advance if it's been posted somewhere else).Wow, nice photo. As far as I know, the jolt has not been removed. The lift hill / drop has not been replaced. Unless there was another way of rectifying the problem (which I assume is highly unlikely), then I doubt the jolt has been removed.
March 6, 201015 yr comment_84896 I'm hoping to get back to Thorpe Wednesday 24th of March. Hopefully Saw will be operating as it is my favourite ride in the country (that I have been on).
March 10, 201015 yr comment_85592 Has SAW had any themeing 'tweaked' over the closed season if anybody knows?
March 10, 201015 yr comment_85600 There was only issues toward the beginging of the year with the pendulums and other things. so no need - of course maintenance would of happened.

March 10, 201015 yr comment_85616 Has anything been done to cut out the scheduled shut down every day at 1pm?Obviously it is slightly inconvenient for both staff and guests, I presume something has been done?
March 10, 201015 yr comment_85617 Has anything been done to cut out the scheduled shut down every day at 1pm?Obviously it is slightly inconvenient for both staff and guests, I presume something has been done? That was done a long time ago!
March 15, 201015 yr comment_86430 Just a heads up to people hoping for a single rider queue again: I asked someone on Sunday if it was running and he said no and he didn't think it would be running this season.
March 22, 201015 yr comment_87250 I really hope that Saw will be open on wednesday. A lot of people have said that the ride is really rough now. I hope it won't be too bad when I go as it's one of my favourite rides in the park.
March 22, 201015 yr comment_87255 Its been open all season, Dont see why it wouldnt be Wednesday..I think it depends on where you sit in the car, back row I quite enjoy Saw, but the majority of the time front row I get a bad headache from the few jolts around the track, but then not everyone seems to be effected by this.
March 24, 201015 yr comment_87564 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5s1TjnrVf8Says someone had heart attack in one of the comments! All it is is the ambulance nothing intresting really.
March 24, 201015 yr comment_87565 The person who recorded that video really does lower my expectations of humanity. Seriously what an absolute douche. Just to clear things up, nobody died, but someone did become unwell and required medical attention. The park also dealt with the incident brilliantly and the ride reopened shortly after.
March 24, 201015 yr comment_87567 ^My expectations of humanity have been low for many years...I have very little doubt that the park dealt with the situation well, since the parks usually do if emergency services are required... Just some people shouldn't be allowed outside...Argh... Stupid people are stupid...
March 24, 201015 yr comment_87570 According to one comment someone injured their neck on the final inversion. Not that surprised if I'm honest though, if that's the case..
March 24, 201015 yr comment_87572 That would be me that said that. It was a friend of mine who was at the park that day with their group of friends. It just annoys me when people state things as fact when they have no idea what actually happened.Anyways, now that it's cleared up, let's get back to talking about Saw: the ride.
March 26, 201015 yr comment_87706 I know what happened here and maybe 'just' a bang on the head, but a warning to Thorpe Park none the less. This ride is too bumpy. So much so, I'm off it all season until they do something and before another bump on the head does a lot more damage.
April 2, 201015 yr comment_88362 A quick question to some people, I have read that there is an advantage of riding the second ridy-thingy (I tend to use scientific terms ). I cant remember what they are and I have never been on the ride, so if anyone can tell me how the second ridy-thingy is better I'll be very gratefull. I think you get a speech or something, I have know idea!
April 2, 201015 yr comment_88363 What is the second ridy-thing? I might be able to help if I could understand what you were talking about

April 2, 201015 yr comment_88365 I assume you mean riding on the second car?The only difference is that instead of passing Jigsaw as he laughs, you stop and have a short pre-ride speech. Its only a small difference, but adds to the overall effect, especially to the first ride!
