January 30, 201411 yr comment_175729 So there will be a partially indoor queue... There's also a short video about one of the near-misses... An indoor queue section like that is what The Swarm needed!
January 30, 201411 yr comment_175732 You mean the kind of indoor queue line that we wouldn't be allowed to queue in because only a certain amount of people would be allowed in the building at any one time. GO THORPE!
January 30, 201411 yr comment_175747 Just in case anyone thought they'd built that indoor queueline for this ride, they haven't. That was the queue for the parks (really good!) log flume, which was removed for construction of this ride...

Mark9, if build correctly (with enough fire exits) it would be OK to let customers queue inside it.

That was the queue for the parks (really good!) log flume, which was removed for construction of this ride... Was it always like that then? I unfortunately missed out on that Flume on my visit, I don't recall it being on the Q-Bot which could well be the reason why I didn't because the place was awfully busy and I had sunstroke... Not my best park visit ever...
January 31, 201411 yr comment_175802 I'M SO GLAD they kept that queue line! I'm sure the dodgy animatronics are gone, but I thought that old log flume had a huge amount of character (Shame they took the wrong one down!) If I remember correctly, that's quite a long pathway down too...(with no fire exit)
February 5, 201411 yr comment_175973 Who wants another B&M goodness photo? Everyone of course (From Heide Park's Twitter)
February 5, 201411 yr comment_175985 It depresses me that it on,y has 6 rows, it looks so strange... 8 rows looks strange also... They should stick with 7 rows.
February 5, 201411 yr comment_175989 Think it's down to the shape of some of the inversions... Should also increase the overall speed as well, as Wing-Riders are rather heavy, hence their rather 'ponderous' nature at times...
February 6, 201411 yr comment_176005 They just look so strange with anything but 7 rows! 6 rows just makes krake look like crap when you look at others! (Talking about the trains of course not the actually rides)
February 6, 201411 yr comment_176008 Krake is adorable with it's 6 seats per row trains though Same for Daemonen
February 10, 201411 yr comment_176224 Surely the shorter trains don't effect Krake and Dæmonen that much anyway, they are both so short as it is. Heides wing rider may have problems but never mind ey.
February 11, 201411 yr comment_176336 Ooh I do want to go. Even sounds like it's developing a nice early roar.
February 12, 201411 yr comment_176359 Ooh I do want to go. Even sounds like it's developing a nice early roar. It'll probably be silenced before opening day, like The Swarm was
March 18, 201411 yr comment_178695 IMAScore posted up some news story, but the promotional image is more interesting as no music was linked... Nice logo, even if it seems Merlin are being uber generic with the similarity to Swarm's one...
March 20, 201411 yr comment_178836 Heide taking a leaf out of Smiler's pre-opening promotion with the new rides logo appearing on some buildings in Germany. Somehow doesn't captivate the mind like the brilliant marketing done for The Smiler last year.

I agree, The Smiler's marketing on big ben and pretty much everywhere in london, captivated me alot more, not to mention, Yellow in the Smiler logo is also more noticeable.
March 21, 201411 yr comment_178945 Looks nice. Seems like the right hand side will be giving a better experience though. Other wing riders seem to give a more even number of 'flipping over the track' and 'flipping under the track', if you will. FotD seems to heavily give the flip overs to the right side. Doubt it'll make that much a difference mind.
