Quick Questions

I bought 2 tickets yesterday via phone using corporate discount, but have to pick up the tickets from the Advanced Ticket booths. Does anyone know if these booths open before the gates open, as I want to be one of the first on the park and not be queuing for tickets!

Hi guys, I'm assuming that a light shower on and off during the day (which is forecast for TP tomorrow) won't shut down all the rides? I am going with a friend who hasn't been for ages and I want her to get on all the rides! I heard that sometimes if the rain is bad, they will stop people going on the front seats (unless they want to get battered by the rain drops! I hear it can be quite painful) but other than that normal service is resumed when it rains? What about Stealth as I know this shuts at a hint of slight wind or weather change - can this still run in the wet/rain? Hi everyone, this is my first post - this question isn't about me it's about my partner who is a quite a big guy! He is around 6'1, 19st & has a bit of a belly on him, I'm just wondering if he will be OK on the rides at Thorpe Park? We're also going to Alton Towers & Blackpool Pleasure Beach in the same week. It's my 26th birthday & as a surprise he's booked for me to go everywhere. We've both been to Blackpool Pleasure Beach before, I have been to Alton Towers many a time (he hasn't) & we recently went to Porto Aventura earlier this year & he was okay on the rides there.. but I am just a little worried about him. Hey guys, just signed up to the forum as I'm going to thorpe park for the first time tomorrow. I've been waiting to go since I was young but finally saved up enough and got a car to go. My main question is whats the best plan of attack for ensuring I get on all the main rides, as in what order should I do them in? When I go to Alton Towers, I know the place like the back of my hand and know where to start and sort of make a loop round? I'll be there from opening till closing but yea, any feedback of which way to do it or whats really good to try would be appriciated. Thanks James

How much costs the Stealth statue in the shop at Thorpe Park?

Hello everyone, Was hoping for some help as me and my friends are planning a little trip down to London/Surrey just to go to Thorpe Park. We are staying for one night and so we will have some small luggage, was just wondering if there is anywhere in the park we could leave this safely as it would be a lot of hassle to carry around and I doubt it would fit in lockers. We could proably fit everyones stuff into 2 small suitcases. Any ideas and how much it will cost? Thanks in advance!

Have noticed on the website you cannot buy tickets for this day. Given you cant for the 19th and the scrolling message on the site this seems to imply they are sold out for this day. However they neglect to mention this. Also on some of the newer 2 for 1 deals these days were blacked out (but not the older ones). I find it hard to believe they sold out that far in advanced (unless massive school booking). So basically whats going on those days? There's no events listed.

Me and my friends just finished our exams today and are planning to go to thorpe park in the holidays before the schools break up, so early July. Is there a particuluar time to go which will be quiet? The only days we cant do is monday and friday. Thanks

Hi guys, I'm visiting the park next week and despite having visited the park countless times, it will be only my second time using public transport I live a 10 minute train journey away from Woking and am just wondering the prices of the tickets for a return bus ticket directly to the park from Woking Station. Was wondering if this would be cheaper as it is essentially a quicker journey (a train to Staines with a few change-overs and the 950 bus takes just around 90 mins, and costs about £8 for me), being around an hour and 10 minutes. Any help would be appreciated -Chris

Hi, Can anyone tell me the cost of an open-ended bounceback ticket? I'm visiting the park next week, and again in a group of 7 a month later. 6 of the group will use 2-for-1's, I'm just trying to find out the cheapest way for the 'odd one out' to get in, without relying on finding someone who needs to share a 2-for-1 on the day. Hi I've been thinking about getting a Thorpe Park or Merlin pass as I'am often traveling near the area with work and have a few hours to kill by myself, so I could pop in there for a bit. I was just wondering how the passes work? are you given a card with a barcode on it that you scan on the way in or do you have to get free tickets when you turn up? Also how does the car parking work with the annual pass do you get any sort of discount? Thanks

Hey am back and ready to help! I was at thorpe park yesterday 6th May and noticed that a lot of the surfaces in the rumba rapids queue line had been sandpapered down or repainted. They have gone kind of a grey colour? Thoughts, answers?

First time post! I am coming down from birmingham next Monday to TP and was just looking at the weather which doesn't look too good - scattered thunderstorms etc. Will this/heavy rain affect many rides? or would they just be closed during and thunderous periods? Don't want to miss out on The Swarm. Just trying to decide whether or not it will be worth going. Thanks for your advice!
