The Nets are always down when the cherry picker is in use( you can see the poles for the nets so recent), I wouldnt expect rush to be open for atleast another week judging the pannels and restraints are off as a minimum

All the black towers in and around the x area used to be steam misters, indeed the previous story was the computers had taken over hence the x super computer idea, there was an upside down room in the now hellgate area along with as mentioned the tunnel, models partly absorbed into walls, the fake lifts you would emerge onto onload with a train waiting for you at this point. you had no idea you would be leaving backwards no signs ect.The whole ride queueline used to be amazing but due to many reasons including building temperature and fire saftey the number of people permitted inside the building was limited which then caused issues with people taking to long to reach the station as it was one long walk, spelled the end for the original X

For anyone interested 'Your day' which went into admistration last year and ceased trading last year. Well alton towers purchased the rights and equipment and well the system has been re launched and re-branded as the Alton Towers Resort DVD. Costing around £15 at present. ( information taken from towers times)

In colaboration with Blackpool council merlin will takeover running Blackpool Tower, The louis tussauds wax works which will become the UK's second Maddam tussauds, An anouncement has been made that a dungeons attraction will be built in the Blackpool Tower building. Merlin will referbish most of the attractions including a 3/4d theatre preview at the tower before they relaunch. The tower is likely going to be branded under the 'eye brand'.link link

As a previous OP of quantum yes your right only one setting is allowed to be used, however the ride has a mind of its own sometimes this can be extreme sometimes the ride decides to be slow and boring, its programed to do two full rotations in either directions, however the ride sometimes does more due to over travel of the arm aka it goes to far over so goes over again.

basically the water tower could work, but the water pump needs replacing, that means ££££ from the engineering budget!!

For thoose interested the booster at leicester square is crap had 3 spins for £4, there are dodgems, chair-o-plane, miami and a small walter. Really its not worth going to.....I'm gutted I cant come I have the flu:-(

I may be attending depends on several things

It's been excellent availability wise this season, as much as I hate the park at the moment. Though look back to summer 2007.... Quantum, Colossus, Samurai, Slammer and vortex were unavailable for long periods of time (although vortex was only a week I think). To what we have had this season is having all rides open everyday for the majority of the time.

Rattlesnake has not always been a 1.4M height restriction Dont know why it was changed though.
