They were testing VR on air last closed season I'm lead to believe so it may have been a concept rather than the actual finished product

Ripsaw has left the park in pieces along with the bridge control box ect. its deffo not coming back. We expected hex to be closed for 2016 So were just waiting for news of charlie, driving school, wobble world and sub terror So it could be upto 6-7 closures this year

Can I ask a quick question in the early days of thorpe the land which is now the waterski was on the park map with attractions ... How did that work with monks walk ?

Tbh chessigton should do this but as a dueling coaster for throughput aka same design but mirrored, with both tyre lifts adjacent to each other and the exit abit like grand nationals

If you think of ride operating conditions, that pretty much sums it up. It has to be safe to evac on a lift for it to be open.... So icy conditions snow and thunder and some rides have wind restrictions. Colossus shakes massivly even on a calm day

I think the attraction is good but you would expect to meet shrek in the attraction in even one scene, rather than just a photo op is all

More referring to your original post.. Then getting to see Shrek, at a Shrek attraction. You would expect Shrek to play a big part in the attraction.

Went to Winter wonderland this year and walked back out in disgust £9 for some of the bigger rides ..... I get £5-7 is allot but £9 is too far

I have to say regardless of what thorpe says.... I think we have seen the end of loggers ..... For Several reasons 1 loggers issues are countless, A) a closed water system not feasable due to the proximity to the lake but is desperatly needed due to the ongoing issues the lake water presents. Large areas of the ride need heavy maintainence/ refurbishment B ) Health and saftey part 1,Evacuation and estops on log flumes in could cause whiplash ect with boats hitting and slips and trips evacing from the trough. Health and saftey part 2, Merlin have had a bad year for h&s whilst log flumes are theme park traditions, and 99.9999% are sensible there is no restraints of any sort on loggers and its inevitable one day one persons stupid actions could further damage the industry with a high profile accident. Conclusion Overall I think merlin have given up on log flumes in there current form, with the flume closing and the other's futures uncertain. The overall cost of refurbishing loggers I think from a cost and return perspective. I can see merlin opting for a new ride system, due to the more enhanced saftey features of modern rides and manufacturer warantee. Or simply not replace it Only time will tell........

I would love to come to guilford but it isnt looking promising ..... These meets always seem to conflict with work and my shifts arnt that easy to change :-(
