I'm looking forward to going and dropping my complimentary kebab on Stealth, thus rendering it inoperable for the rest of the season as per MOS last year. I'm going to go and complain to guest services as soon as I arrive that I've managed to get a ticket to press night as I'm not even a proper enthusiast, and demand fastracks.

RE: Circus World. I remember it, and remember going to the Circus when I was a teenager with a mate at Chessie because of the hot acrobats - did I just say that out loud? I remember the Clown Coaster with that drum - that I was convinced would give you an electric shock (not quite sure where that came from) and the Juggler, which looked straight out of a fairground with it's garish backdrop. Can't believe the casual slagging of original Bubbleworks, how very dare you Original Vamp, Bubbles and an awesomely themed McDonalds, thems were the days I tell ye! 59p for a burger inside a Merlin park, unbelivable scenes.

Looks like my source on the Bargain Hunt maze was incorrect, sorry guys.

Hilarious that one of the press releases says "The living billboard which soaked unaware passing commuters in blood and guts this morning in London...." No it didn't. You'd get a lawsuit on your hands.

I can't see anything on the decision to say that the drop feature hasn't been approved? Also on the planning permission website - a segway track for Go Ape was approved, not sure if that's been discussed/spotted or not...

Heard a rumour that the new IP is going to be Bargain Hunt scare zone with all the actors dressed up like David Dickinson - and if you fail Containment this year you get covered in lots of orange fake tan and actors around the park will be try and scare you more?

This is true. But reduced merch before has meant changes/removal (though that's not applicable obviously in this case) for the next season. The Swarm medal is generic and doesn't exactly take up lots of stock space - and there are medals for other rides too, so if they are stopping selling those medals, you'd probably expect them to be reduced for all rides not just Swarm...
