God dammit guys it's just people's opinions based on what they themselves have experienced. There is no accusation that ALL well off people refuse to give to charity. If you are from a well off family it can go either way - some people will give more because they have been raised that way, other people won't give anything for the same reason.
Your reaction seems as if you have taken these comments personally, Holly. I'm sure that is not how they were meant. Like I said, they have been based on people's own experiences, which will differ to yours.

Detonator is one of my favourite rides! I think that the whole retheme for angry birds land could remove some of the 'fear factor' though, and I always assumed NI and Detenator went together, mainly due to the similarities regarding colour scheme. IMO I think that the angry birds land retheme a la merlin (changing the sign and putting a bird on top) could remove the element of fear it brings into most people as it's not just the fact it's a drop tower which makes it so omnious, the simple theming and the music tie in nicely and contribute a fair amount also. So this should be interesting come may.

Come summer, people will be swarming around those leaks to cool off . An IT lecturer has taught me "there is no such things as flaws or bugs, they are just features"... So remember that next time a ride breaks down, that's a feature

An interesting day, mainly due to the changes in staff and so many managers with their "helping hands" with little groups of new staff. Noted that Security are "dressed down" not sure if this was because it was pass holders only.

Thats the kind of thing I adore, that seperates Chessington from the rest. I also like the tree sculptures near Toadies, great work by the park. It's that kind of thoughtful, beautiful work that really shows up the half arsed attempts on Scorpion and lack of work at Falls.

As others have mentioned, the area available governs the distance of the launch track, and therefore the achievable height off that launch, relatively speaking.

Without seeing it in person, it does look like what they have done has been done quite well. But, and it is a huge but, there looks like a hell of a lot of space where there is nothing at all so it's a bit bare and more importantly is separate from the ride itself. Surely it can not ride as well than it did through the closely placed caves.
It now looks to me like Flying Fish with brown underneath instead of green and fake buildings behind instead of The Swarm. As a ride experience surely it can only be worse?

I only rode Forbidden Tomb once and it had one of the most long-lasting impacts on my imagination ever. It absolutely terrified me, and then the following year it was all changed.
This is amazing to see, it's such a daft and fantastic ride! Chessington at its very best!

The weather was great today; met up with some of the TPM members by chance.
As with everything, loads of new staff being shown the ropes; several of the rides experiencing teething problems.
A bit odd, that most of the aforementioned changes/improvements still either not existing or being worked on.
Many of the previous tatty bits still remaining.
I had forgotten that I don't normally go on a Saturday so I was surprised by the amount of youngsters there, doh!
