If you're going on it expecting Helix then you will be disappointed... Still looks fun and still likely to be the best coaster at the park...

It's either horrible or amazing, there is no middle ground when it comes to play offs... Shame really, could've been Watford's rivals as they're weirdly obsessed with Palace... But then again I can actually go to the Huddersfield game, so I won out there... Besides, Reading won't be the scum of the league with Millwall coming up...

Wow this topic died... Log Flume is progressing well (like, really good looking themeing), but the big news is the announcement of a hotel... Perhaps they'll expand public transport links further to Dublin as a result because I don't see it being for two days at the park, but it's a positive investment none the less... No pics from me, but go Google it you lazy lot...

FastPass is applicable because it's FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! It also helps plan the day out a fair amount a bit better as it does work well... Especially on Big Thunder Mountain, that queue is an utter burden... Only two rides you'll REALLY struggle not to have to queue for are Crush's Coaster and Ratatouille in the lack of SRQ use side of things...

Fast pass is your friend. Is it worth getting an AP? If so get one, since Magic Hours and discounts are fab. Space Mountain has a SRQ. WDS dies in the last two hours of opening, like 0-5 Mon queues dead. Best time to whore the rides there.

Deuteronomy 13: 6 If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, 7 gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), 8 do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not spare them or shield them. 9 You must certainly put them to death. Your hand must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people. 10 Stone them to death, because they tried to turn you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 11 Then all Israel will hear and be afraid, and no one among you will do such an evil thing again. 12 If you hear it said about one of the towns the Lord your God is giving you to live in 13 that troublemakers have arisen among you and have led the people of their town astray, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods you have not known), 14 then you must inquire, probe and investigate it thoroughly. And if it is true and it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done among you, 15 you must certainly put to the sword all who live in that town. You must destroy it completely, both its people and its livestock. 16 You are to gather all the plunder of the town into the middle of the public square and completely burn the town and all its plunder as a whole burnt offering to the Lord your God. That town is to remain a ruin forever, never to be rebuilt. Good old Christian values right there. Extremism does not relate to all those who practice it, we mock the Westboro Baptist Church for it's ridiculous notions of how the Bible should be viewed, to tar all under one brush is exactly why ISIS and it's people are causing these attacks... To divide people, to cause hate, to cause more people to run to them... Saying something like that is playing into the hands of terrorists...

Is Rocky Express still open? If so then that still resides as best ride on park...

You going to meet the King, things presumably go wrong, Pardoes saves the day... The story ends there...

Having seatbelts actually potentially CAUSED the drowning, since panic can easily set in and cause it all to go pear shaped very quickly... Imagine trying to open a seatbelt after seeing people flung out of your capsized boat! I always assume that seatbelts come with the layout of the things... Ones with bigger drops in the states have seatbelts, though River Quest and others over here do not... It's probably a mixture of layouts and culture; given that Americans sued McDonalds because the coffee was hot (spilt it over themselves) they need to cover themselves a lot more than other countries do purely over idiocy, having seatbelts means that if anything were to happen to someone like this they can point to having safety standards in place...

It probably stands for as much as Rita does...

I've never had an issue with 'non-professional' character photos at the entrance, it might have changed since my last visit but no idea... The FunCard is the best annual pass out there though...

September is good as it is the middle of the Summer and Halloween crowds (and you can still experience Halloween events), alternatively before/after Spring Break/Easter... 2 weeks is PLENTY of time to go and do every park in the area (don't forget Fun Spot and Legoland)... 14 days to do 10 parks? Easy peasy... Everything else is budget based, stay on site has advantages and disadvantages depending on which side, hire car would probably help matters though regardless of choice... Off-site there's MILLIONS of hotels and the majority have shuttle buses to the parks (or a taxi)... Pretty much all the parks can be done in a day with good planning (or Universal Express passes if staying on-site)...

And will be a better return on investment compared to other £20m+ additions If this effectively doubles that attendance then it's been a worthwhile investment, that simple...

Eye witness reports (early ones at least) state that she stood up to change seats though... Merlin are just being really cautious since all the links to Smiler...

And to provide a bit of media blackout too... Don't need the Mail sending some investigator in... The Mirror also decided to run with that she attended a Muslim school or something... Lovely stuff...

Either a boat has flipped over (unlikely since only one victim), or they were stood up and thrown out the boat... Wonder what's the most likely cause?

As pluk said recently somewhere else on here, 'true' record breakers like inversions and height etc are not necessarily gimmicks compared to say "FULLY DEDICATED TO VR" is... Besides, Colossus is the same layout as Monte Makaya in Brazil, only with two bonus inversions to get that record...

SledgeHammer is the Huss Jump2 right? Been about as reliable as Slammer, definitely a bad idea...

One post, ONE GODDAMN POST...

Swear that Wild Mouse has been there since the place reopened? Also, you're moving into a flat NEXT DOOR TO DREAMLAND! What did they expect? It's like people moving onto Holmesdale Road in Selhurst and then moaning about the bi-weekly hordes of football fans...

It's what a park needs to do to hit that next step... I'd assume Toverland is considered third in Holland (though it and Walibi and basically fighting for second) and this should certainly get people noticing it more... It's been slowly developing since Troy, imagine having parks thinking long term eh?

Given it's chequered history, there's zero surprise that Thorpe have finally given up and letting it go... If they are able to get someone to part money with it then someone's played an absolute blinder there...

The term "Kleine airtime bump" amuses me for no real reason... Let's hope it's better than Heide's...
