  1. People are really thinking some red syrup is 'gory'... Y'all tripping...
  2. I remember the reaction to it placing 6th in the Mitch Hawker poll and how incredulous the Americans were, calling it stupid that a ride that barely any of them had ridden could be rated so highly... Bunch of self centred tools...
  3. What probably hasn't helped the park was the dreadful state DIC left it in... It's amazing how optimistic people were after Wild Asia opened... And now look...

Is it an UK thing though? Hex, Duel and Laser Raiders all have indoor queues that are used on a regular basis (as in the outdoor extensions of Hex and Duel are never used)... Come to think of things there aren't that many rides that do have completely indoor queues...
  6. From what the general opinion of Galatica is that doesn't sound particularly difficult to do though... VR is only as good as the content on display though, much like any media... You can have all the pixels or 1:1 motion in the world but if the animation is crap then it's all for nothing...

It's a weird one, the indoor queue did get dreadfully hot over times, and the lifts were probably more burdenous in modern times... Like most of the original design, it was a daft idea that never really worked as a concept...
  8. The only thing they do wrong is their no adults allowed rule making it hard to get the creds (and even that is understandable)... As a kid park, they're probably quite good and no doubt better kept than Chessie is currently...
  9. Shame that they're a parody of themselves really, otherwise it would be seen as a positive... It's no surprise that Valhalla ended up back on their radar after TPR went there...
  10. Taxi from airport to Bruhl/park is expensive, only do that if you're arriving late... There is a dedicated bus that costs a massive €3 return directly outside Bruhl station on the right side...
  11. There's potential, there always is with brand new parks, and they already have a good massive icon coaster too... These next big additions will hopefully get them on the next level...
  12. Imagine if those people went to somewhere like Europa or one of those US parks that only perform visual checks... Imagine the OUTRAGE!
  13. It'll only have more added/changed to it if the guest reaction is really bad, like Sub Terra... From what people seem to say on here, that's not been the case, so doubt they'll change anything major because the stats will say they don't need to and guests are happy...

  15. Wouldn't be too surprised if the council get a nice new agreement in place after the park's success since then though...
  16. I'd assume everything is open during their standard season unless otherwise stated... Ride all the creds, the major flats (I.e. Mechanika, Aero Spin, etc.), the log flume and rapids and Gasten Hotel (I think) are the things to ride...
  17. Let's be honest, the poster is rather amateurish, the chainsaw guy especially so... Kinda does look like "My First Photoshop"
  18. Given that I've seen enthusiasts (well known ones at that) arguing with ride ops about being the first riders back when MRAWS was a thing, Ka's stuff doesn't surprise me in the slightest...
  19. How would the Gruffalo fit the lift simulators at the end though? Given the cost of them, I would imagine any changes made to Charlie (whatever they are) would incorporate those lifts, unless they're truly buggered (which would be of no surprise)... Thing is we don't even know if anything will happen to Charlie, and if it were being rebranded we'd know about it now rather than it kept as a secret, as we know Merlin are awful at those...
  20. I'll take, "Things we said 10 years ago" for £100...
  21. Efteling also did themed hi-vis for Baron, cos they do those sorta unnecessary things... Hopefully they'll do another Youtube series too of the construction...
  22. IMAScore's stuff is very basic (as in the track tends to follow a simple set of chords), but it's also catchy and pretty damn memorable... Stuff like Krake and Smiler are like this... Then you have stuff like Helix, Chiapas, Magic Valley at Toverland and Klugheim, which are a great combination of that same technique but those work immensely well in the context of the rides and areas themselves... They're probably slightly better in terms of producing a complete package of music for an entire area rather than a single track, as the difference between them is much more noticeable in those senses... It's like Disney soundtracks for certain rides in a way...
  23. Poor naive goon, what will you be like when you visit real parks with real rides?
  24. Ohhhh gypsy day! Miss those days they were always fun to work on...
