  1. Expedition GeForce is over rated...

There was an old proposal for a GCI where Saw now lives... Though I'm more approving of a replacement water ride...
  3. I'd assume it was either Depth Charge or the more likely candidate of Loggers back in 1996ish... Biggest ride on park back then too, and the only rides I was unable to get on were Calgary Stampede and X:\\NWO... Jesus I'm old...

    Tis the season!
  5. 2019 is the next big addition, they kinda announced that the other day as well but no mention of what it is aside from being big...
  6. You've got an entire world of possibilities, more than Blackpool in the realm of creds...
  7. Everyone has that emotion, that plus 1 attraction you've queued an hour for expecting a dull or boring experience, when suddenly mid ride a moment of pure excitement erupts for a few seconds before the ride resumes it's rather bland affair with life... What are your standout moments of awful/dull/average rides? This could be any part of any ride... To start off, the tunnel dive on Vampire and Runaway Train are both memorable moments on bang average rides... Baco's awfulness is at odds with the launch sequence... Most Intamin coasters have that fantastic first drop then meander for ages... Let's try and have some proper discussion eh?

But I thought Thorpe wanted to bring more families to the park? And treating Twitter responses as the official line? Never a good idea with the distinct lack of communication between departments...

    Football

Already tied with that if I recall? Probably about as defensively sound as they were though...

Could be worse, could be officially the worse English league team in 2016...
  11. It's ok, you can still ride Jaws at Universal Studios Japan! There's probably a Corkscrew clone sitting somewhere in the world too...
  12. Just a general shame that all that time and effort was just for marketing, imagine if the puppet was actually in the ride? Even if just an exit pathway scare...
  13. Neither of those actually answer his questions there... For train routes, best bet is Deustche Bahn's official site... Should be able to input everything and get lots of information... Continental train services are far superior to the UK, and I think the trip is relatively simple and involves two trains, but I've never done it, but some on here have... There should be links to shuttle information on the Europa website... Probably in their directions tab... When I used one it was €100 EACH WAY, this might have changed but I doubt it somehow... All info (and shuttle links) are at http://www.europapark.de/en/services-info/worth-knowing/getting-here
  14. Probably continue mopping up a few UK creds I need, in no desperate mood to go to any Merlin park... Abroad probably a few here and there... Plopsa, Efteling, Asterix, DLP and Port Aventura are on the wish list, plus a few plus 1s I'm sure... Finland would be the potential big trip (like I've said for like 3 years it feels)...
  15. What is a good summary of modern Merlin is using some of the exact same snippets of speech in both the London Sweeney Todd room and Blackpool's pirate room...
  16. Did you do Ramses? Garda probably has two of the fabbest crap European dark rides in the entirety of Europe...
  17. Will be interesting to see the general consensus once people have ridden it... To me it wasn't the greatest thing since sliced bread (It's one of those 'pedestal' coasters) but it is good fun and very enjoyable... At night
  18. What's the point in 360 degree VR when you can't move your head that much?
  19. The two live action mazes? I liked Sub Terra, it was actually the sort of thing I want more of, especially for filler attractions (story driven and actually well themed)... Unfortunately the amount of problems it had (both technical and guest wise) has turned it into a bit of a white elephant, especially after Smiler crashed...
  20. It's marketing guff, besides it just shows how far behind the curve Merlin are when 7D is so prevalent in Asia...
  21. Premier did use the moving station idea for a few of their shuttle launches, so it's not a really new idea, just never been used to a suitable potential by other companies...
  22. Roland's been at the sherry in the hotel bars again hasn't he?
