That second launch should invite some sort of environmental tax for such a massive waste of energy. I like the concept, I love a spinner, but as has been said, this is really odd. No flow, and a lack of manoeuvres which are likely to induce any actual spinning. Would like to see further examples though, that's for sure.

Not my area and I might be speaking out of turn, but I think chatroom fell out of use as groups of users made concerted effort to move chat away from the chatroom and forum onto other platforms. Why they did this I do not know, but it did the forums, and old chat room, no good at all. Whole thing became a bit clique. I'd be happy for it to return, would it get used though? I don't know if it's even a possibility with the host/software currently being used.

I trust them not to mess it up, but I like a good dark coaster. Hoping this isn't too well lit in a way which takes away the darkness chaos. All it really needed was some aircon.

If time traveller works out well that'd be my bet. Would rather an RMC though, which is marketable in itself without having to shoehorn in a nonsensical Varney USP special.

Summer Lates Pass is excellent. I really hope it is a success to prove that later opening times can be financially profitable, with separate ticket sales and the opportunity to sell people another meal. Maybe we'll see it elsewhere across the UK then too. FarceTrack disgusts me still. With this level of flexibility in what anyone can do with their queue jumping ticket once purchased, can we now dispel the myth that fastrack is in any way controlled, managed or timed to stop it crippling the park for everyone? There effectively are no limits in how many people can push in front of you once you are in any given queue. Nice one Thorpe! If a despicable system such as this has to exist it should be tightly controlled with timed tickets to stop massive influxes of riders at one place one time. This move comes even further away from that.

I can't wait to transport myself into such a magical fantastical world. It's the stuff dreams are made of. When the concept art looks this bad, how awful will real life be?

Does look incredible. I always find it difficult to get too excited about far away rides I'm unlikely to get on for many years. Crazy / criminal that RMC hasn't been brought to the UK yet.

I think the 'year of the walking dead' stuff is more to do with the events scattered throughout the year, rather than the ride. I see the ride as a permanent addition, and the events a one off celebration (commiseration?!) of that. I'd hazard a guess that the rights are for a few years to make spending the money on the theming worth while. Considering X was for sale a couple of years back it was clearly their intention for it to go, but money was spent on it to keep it open instead when no one bought it. I suppose the overlay could extend its life a bit, but it'd be no massive suprise to see it removed relatively soon.

Don't forget to add to add the parking charge each visit if you are driving too. All adds up!

What a mess. They'd finally turned X into something fun and worthwhile that filled height restriction gap in their lineup that desperately needed filling, and have ballsed that work right up by inexplicably bringing us a kiddie coaster with a horror theme. Even if the ride experience itself is actually good (highly doubtful!), it's still an incredibly dumb decision. I wonder if the increased height restriction might also mean the fill every seat rule can be dropped?

Rage does seem to have got noticeably less smooth in the last year or so, I wonder whether the extreme cold has anything to do with that? Hopefully it'll run a bit better in the warm months to come. As Matt said, running Time Machine so that after every cycle the riders were trapped and had to wait 5 or 10 mins for an engineer is madness. Part of me wants to think it's great that they'd go to such lengths to keep it open, but really it's pretty shoddy to not either close it and fix it properly, or keep it running with an engineer present to release everyone each time. Can't help but absolutely love the ride still, it's insane. Notice the op now gives each rider a personal briefing about not lowering your head during the ride. Never used to do that, I wonder if they've had an incident on there. If they have I'm glad they've gone for that option rather than toning it down. Overall the park didn't feel quite ready. The staff were on it from the off, with the interaction and high fiving, but the rides and park itself didn't seem to have properly prepared. Seemed a little unloved, which is not like them at all. Also, let it be known that Josh should not be allowed near skittles and balls.

I suppose it's going to depend on individual body shapes. For all my bulk my thighs aren't huge so I have very few problems with any lap bar (unless it meets my stomach before my legs!), but am big on my top half so struggle with over the shoulder restraints frequently. I've had to do a few walks of shame now, just have to shrug it off and off to the next one. I know it's my own fault for being such a lump, I should really do something about that!

Haha! That was created in Disney World, interactive area after the Journey into Imagination ride (with that annoying little pr*ck, Figment (you've got me at it now)) in 2005. Was pretty impressive technology back then!

I know nothing of any actual restrictions, but based on 18 stone of me getting on everything last year... The only real issue rides I can think of would be Revolution, which I find very tight, and Infusion, which I don't find too bad but know others have struggled with. Big One, Valhalla and all of the woodies are very forgiving. When Icons restraints are confirmed looking at previous Mack's with the same ones should give an answer on that one. Edit - pretty much what he said!

Shame you didn't like Crealy. Always thought it looked like a nice little place, not worth travelling to, but a popping in if you are passing sort of park. Maybe not then!

Unseen tonight was I Tonya, bloody good it was too. Very funny in places but an eye-opener too ; my presumed knowledge of that whole episode (I'm old enough to remember it happening, and the one side coverage at the time) was largely wrong.
