Retheme done.Having said that it's probably in everyones interests if the brand stays, as long as the renewal is not as prohibitively expensive as it was in the first place (which should be the case as the franchise has died).

We are very pleased we are able to offer our members ERT on THE SWARM, Thorpe Parks new Wing Rider coaster!
We will hold a meetup on Friday 23rd March, with ERT being held from park close for 30 minutes for Thorpe Park Mania members!
The park opens 10:00am and will close at 5pm, we plan to meet around mid-day at the Stealth Sitting rocks, we understand some of our members will not be able to make this time due to School / College commitments, but feel free to come along later in the evening and enjoy The Swarm with us later in the day.
As ever, this is subject to ride availability and all ride restrictions apply and you will need a valid day ticket of annual pass for entry to the park as normal.

Erm, I didn't say anything of the sort.The point I was making is MJ was making amazing, groundbreaking, original meaningful music so his film-like music vids sat well with them. I know all these things are personal opinion but for the most part GaGa is knocking out catchy little throw away pop songs that would better suit a standard pop vid. I find this pretentious because it is all art and no substance, it just means nothing and sits poorly next to the song itself.Not everyone has to be good looking, but then not everyone is shaking their junk in my face via a music video. Again, it's all personal opinion (Spears has looked like a rotten dirty scrubber for years, Florence is one of the most beautiful women in the world, Madonna was until she started trying to look like Skeletor), but the likes of Adele and Florence have a bit of class about them and let the music do the talking, they don't try to shove their 'unconventional' looks down my throat with overblown weird long porn pop promos.

SRQs are a faff magnet, glad they've chosen to go without. If only they'd go without the Farce Track queue line too.

Why don't you try and sort a visit like I had yesterday? It was fairly interesting and got to see bits and bobs that I hadn't before. Yeah ok we didn't climb up lift hills but the inferno brake run and the educational side was pretty cool

I had an educational tour today and oh my god does the swarm look awesome! We weren't allowed close up pictures but I can say that the theming looks even better in the flesh and also the fire engine is slightly submerged. The helicopter isn't as big as I expected but still looks fab. I will upload pictures later!

The current MTDP states there'll be no new infilling up until 2016(?), and I can't imagine much more going on after that. As for the development zone that hj16 was talking about between Vortex and Alive, I can't imagine much infilling going on there (well, new rides at least), because it is quite close to the main road, and I can imagine noise issues cropping up. I'm pretty sure there was some rumour about Saw being the closest Thorpe would go towards that main road because of noise and such, but that could be a load of twaddle really..I think we'll find that infilling will becoming less frequent and more difficult to achieve with Thorpe in the next decade or so. I don't the point of draining the lake (as mentioned above) is a feasible one, and the 'best' method would be to 'lose land' elsewhere (like what has happened with the area once known as Thorpe Farm), but they are surely reaching their limit there.http://www.getsurrey.co.uk/news/s/2090607_thorpe_park_set_for_new_rollercoasterIgnoring all the directly related Swarm stuff in that article, even councillors are realising that Thorpe are soon going to reach their limit. To be honest, I don't think need much more land than they'll be planning to have once they've installed a 2015 and 2018 coaster (assuming that there'll be ones, and they'll occupy islands A and E, of course); it's just a case of Thorpe using their land efficiently..

If you pay attention to the Trucks and stop/start them, you will rarely break them.However the moment you let Car 2 onto it's second lap, they will all collide. Bonus points if you can make a Trucks train.
