  1. Looks like an upgraded flying fish.
  2. Double post hype, that's right embrace it! Disney Annual Pass holders seem to be starting to get annoyed that they can't park-hop anymore as reservations are required in advance for parks. They are also annoyed that magic bands are being scrapped, shows and meet and greets are being dropped while their AP is still the same price. It's not as if there is a major virus going around here's the latest figures for Florida are on the up!:
  3. How is this poor from RMC? If I built a coaster, I would want my money upfront Covid or no Covid. Also wouldn't it be fun if RMC decided to open the ride as a $30 upsell in the park until the payments were made.
  4. Lets look at this logically. Clearly it wouldn't pass QC standard. A contractor who was brought into the park for one day to install multiple LED screens, has done his job and installed the screen. The new ride signage boards are probably still being produced however the screen is in the correct position ready for the new board. Perhaps the company who do the boards are closed for the pandemic, hence the delay and once ready to be installed it will be placed in the correct positioning creating a nice looking queue times and ride information board. However in the mean time, I'm surprised that they didn't cover it up with a box or something whilst waiting for the delayed queue time board to be printed. We also have to remember that these parks are still running on skeleton staff so perhaps this wasn't priority.
  5. I rather enjoyed Shaun's video of the gardens, as someone who doesn't have the time to go up to Towers every year, its nice to see something which I wouldbn't have time for whilst on park. The two vlogs currently sit on a combined 130k views.
  6. Interesting hobby crossover: The NBA is completing its season over the next few months at Disney. I assume at the ESPN complex. Interesting the hotels have been decided on seeding -Grand Destino: Bucks, Lakers, Raptors, Clippers, Celtics, Nuggets, Jazz, Heat -Grand Floridian: Thunder, 76ers, Rockets, Pacers, Mavericks, Nets, Grizzlies, Magic -Yacht Club: Blazers, Kings, Pelicans, Spurs, Suns, Wizards
  7. Most of that is probably zoo operating costs.
  8. The Bourne Stunt Show Spectacular has opened to very good reviews in staff / soft opening previews.
  9. Love how the engineers were looking as sad as possible whilst testing the ride.
  10. Luckily the park guest can't fly like a drone.
  11. Pretty sure they will take it all into the design, for example look at all those trees in front of the Hogwarts castle.
  12. This tweet: For all we know a park could just be about to go into administration, job losses etc perhaps without the staff even knowing. But this person wants to create some enthusiast 'clout' just because he works within the industry and hears slightly more information than anyone else.
  13. That would be another £300k please!

Unfortunately a 13 year old story sells better than current events.
  15. Interesting way of extra security checks around testing for the hospitality and leisure industry so thought its worthy of a share here, as an alternative to social distancing. Could work quite well in a theme park setting however I have 0 faith in the government to implement correctly..
  16. Interestingly it looks like Legoland Florida has its dark rides open.
  17. Yay, another shameless plug, to an article I've already read from the original provider AT Social channels!

Issue is the attraction wouldn't open as intended, if the attraction has any water / bubble based effects these won't be turned on.
  19. Think, of the children, how cool it would be to going fast and straight towards the lake.
  20. Very interesting, the checking of restraints is interesting. I wonder what would happen if something went wrong.
  21. Do we have any other games which we can play during these sad times.
  22. Today marked the re-opening of MT Wuhan, the last of the Chinese attractions to reopen. Hopefully there will be more good news to come soon.
  23. Spreading this video for awareness of idiots. Few of my favorites: - Still allowing fans to do photo opportunities. - If you don't like the mask take it off to have a drink, as you can't drink with a mask on. - Not happy about wearing a face mask. - ALSO CONFIRMED HHN is going ahead, despite no source.
  24. Gardaland have a large binder to inform us on how the park will be able to reopen.
  25. Wow it seems as if everyone is wanting to stay at home post Covid-19. I see a leisure boom incoming.
